Same at the church we’ve been visiting in Greenville. Our old church in Nashville just announced masks optional beginning May 23rd. The tide is finally turning when these scientists who were staunch lockdown and mask supporters are now getting on board. It’s time to let those that want to do so get back to normal. If others want to wear masks that’s fine too.

Most haven't worn masks at our Church in months. If you feel as though you need to, fine - but most don't. Lafrance First Baptist just outside Clemson.

Fed Govt needs to take lead on doing/encouraging the following across the United States:

1. Reopen all schools to full time in-person learning
2. End/do not renew supplemental Covid unemployment benefits
3. End all Fed mask mandates
4. Tell the American people: "Our industries and government have worked together to give each American citizen the tools to make informed choices in protecting themselves. America is now open for business."

I have tolerated wearing a mask (been fully vaccinated since early February) for the greater good. However, it's time to move on.

If you aren't vaccinated yet then it's your problem to deal with. Anyone that is at risk has had plenty of time to get a vaccine.

All I can say is thank goodness I live in a Red state. Been largely open for business since last July with a few hiccups here and there but always quick to reopen and give businesses and citizens the human right of choice with some limited restrictions. There are some mandates here and there that are a little inconvenient but overall it's really not been that bad.

I wasn't a fan of getting the vaccine at first but honestly now that I got the vaccine I really feel "free" to do whatever I want. I was totally against it but ended up changing my mind. We have been very outgoing during all of this but we were definitely careful and smart about it. Getting the vaccine relieved any anxiety I have about going out and about. Hand shake or hug, whatever. Doesn't bother me a bit.

Everyone has had the opportunity to get the vaccine at this point. If you chose not to get it then that's on you as it should be. It should be your choice. But there is no reason to not open things back up 100% at this point because some people chose not to. Just my 0.02. If we open things up and someone gets covid that didn't want to vaccinate, that's on them. I shouldn't be penalized for their decision just as they shouldn't have the vaccine mandated on them.
