Nikki Haley would win the presidency as the Republican nominee and they won't nominate her. She is one of the most well prepared and most Mature candidates we've had in years and still won't come close because of the dumbass MAGA voters.

She has my vote right now for the MD GOP primary in May (not that it matters, MD would go for a toothpick if it ran as a Dem).
I do like how unapologetic DeSantis is on his stance on the Cartels. Way past time we send Patriot missiles right up their asses, but that’s just my opinion.
She has slain in every debate and comes across as more competent than any of them, plus the polling consistently shows that she has the best chance of beating Biden out of all the other R candidates, yet Republicans would rather shoot themselves in the foot and gamble on Trump because he gives them their best chance of owning the libs, and that's more important than any policy. So damn stupid

Haley is a bit more conservative than I like personally, BUT I'd vote for her over Biden in a heartbeat. She has good sense, she'll work with Dems to get things done... And THAT'S the name of the game.
Exactly where I am. I don't agree on all of her positions,but I respect that she is smart,will focus on getting stuff done, and would probably help with the overall tenor of political discourse in America.
Vivek comes across as such an ass. Just extremely unlikeable and really fake. He's doing this to raise his Name recognition for his business and books. He was never a serious candidate.
I think he is gunning for a VP spot, whereas the others actually want to win.

As I understand, she resigned from Boeing because they were accepting government Covid money. To me, that is pure stupidity. The government was giving money to everyone and everyone was taking it.
Instead, she used a lame excuse to quit a board during trying times. The going got tough and Nikki quit. Just my opinion, i realize its a little harsh, but that's just how it came off to me.

Sure. He did. I don’t like who he has become throughout this process - I guess - to cater to the lowest common denominator. His initial appeal was his intellect and positivity. He’s been an ass and all but wiped that out. That doesn’t invalidate the good points he did make.

Haley is who I'm voting for in the primary. She's far and away the best candidate. The Republican Party is such a shit show right now.
Yep... the problem here is that we are so politically divided. Both sides of the aisle (the far end for sure) act like working with the other side is somehow wrong. I don't understand it. Here's an example of the way it SHOULD be done. IMHO a real American Hero...Saying what every politician should be saying:

It's interesting to me that the vast majority of both conservatives and moderates on this board who have demonstrated a triple digit IQ are supporting Nikki Haley. I mean that's how it should be of course, but politics hasn't followed logic recently.
This is one thing that I actually blame the media for (on both sides). Ratings are everything and it's SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING to watch people go at each other like a Jerry Springer episode than it is to watch a couple of folks honestly and respectfully debate an issue and come to a compromise. So that's what you see. Far better to watch MTG and AOC act like a couple of monkeys on crack that it is to watch the more moderate folks work.
They have managed to make the boring work of politics into a spectator sport and dumbasses on both sides have eaten it up.
Because the majority of the adults on this board understand that while you will never agree with anyone on every single topic, you can still find common ground and get stuff accomplished. We badly need to elect some moderate adults to these offices.
It is interesting that this happened right at the same time that trump became a republican and started shouting the birtherism conspiracy. He saw people like the fat lady in the red sweater who called Obama an "arab", and he saw an opportunity to be the voice of mouth breathers everywhere.
I knew John personally, he knew me by name. He was a wonderful human even if he went a little batty when he ran for office.
The clip of him telling that old woman at a rally that obama is a good man with a good family who disagrees on policy is just so good.
