Good. We don't need additional production, we need additional refining capacity. Personally, I'd much rather see less Gulf drilling and more Permian Basin drilling due to environmental impacts of gulf vs landlocked spills. The amount of open wells that these companies are already sitting on to influence the price of crude would have you singing a completely different tune about this.

Most of if not all of the "oil" from fracking is refined elsewhere. The industry has become much more consolidated since say the last Trump term. Private producers are now mainly controlled by much larger public firms who only care about stockholder returns. I think additional drill production still has its place to help the US become for energy secure!
I don't disagree. I assume you are speaking of refining crude, and companies sitting on DUCs.

It's a combination of US refineries operating at peak permitted levels currently, and yes, DUCs. It's more valuable for the O&G companies to sit on prospective wells than it is to drill them and overload the market and potentially lower global crude prices. We're never going to see sub-$2/gal for gas ever again, barring some major shift I can't think of.

They are hoarding all the wealth in this country? 80% of the US Dollars in existence have been created in the last 5 years.
If the pie is ever expanding, as is the stated goal of the Fed, then it's hard to argue that the wealth is too concentrated.
And, the billionaires hardly hoard their wealth. Have you seen the projects they have been working on? You see Amazon and the number of employees they have? Have you seen the number of people that Jeff Bezos and Amazon have made millionaires?
Do you see how Bezos, Gates, Musk have made life easier and more comofortable for every single living being on this planet? The level of comfort far exceeds any time in the past. There is no better time to be a human than now compared to the last 8 billion years.
Billionaires are extremely good at asset allocation. Why would we limit them in the thing that they are best at?

Deporting 50% of the labor force, in a vacumm, would cause a price increase. However, in reality this will not happen in a vacuum. Vacuums only happen in outer space and in the physics labs. There will be other massively deflationary forces coming, along with the US being a sovereign nation and can allow in more labor at it's pleasure.
Your concern is misplaced. But you know that because we have discussed it many times before.

Not exactly agreeing or disagreeing with you here, but cutting the budget or trade deficits would be bad news for the economy. I guess I'd say that I disagree with the almost psychological obsession Republicans and Democrats both seem to have now with the word deficit. In a strange way, the US exporting more relatively speaking serves to hurt the US.

It's a pretty standard Muskism - make wildly outlandish claim only to have it fail spectacularly. We will have full self drive capabilities by 2018, will have people on Mars by 2020, his Tesla AI coders will solve the bot problem on twitter, San Francisco Hawthorne tunnel, and now we will cut AT LEAST $2t from gov't inefficiencies.
We'll just have to see... I'm sure everyone on here knows how I feel about Trump. But he won the election fair and square and he gets the chance to do what he said he was going to do.
Some things I'm looking forward to:
Energy prices going down.
Grocery prices going down.
Reducing the national debt and government spending (a la Musk) by $2 Trillion.
Tariffs reducing inflation and increasing manufacturing in the US.
Stopping the war in Ukraine before he even goes into office/in 24 hours.
We'll see how it goes. One thing we all can agree on. If Trump gets the above done, he'll take full credit. If he doesn't, he will blame others.
