Good. We don't need additional production, we need additional refining capacity. Personally, I'd much rather see less Gulf drilling and more Permian Basin drilling due to environmental impacts of gulf vs landlocked spills. The amount of open wells that these companies are already sitting on to influence the price of crude would have you singing a completely different tune about this.It really is a testimate to just how evil an unamerican this past administration was. They could give 2 shits about the economy and the American people.
Also slapping us in the face by hiding behind climate change just to make sure Trump cannot fix the screw ups in direct order.
There is no argument here.
Biden to issue sweeping offshore oil and gas drilling ban, could slow Trump's priorities
I don't disagree. I assume you are speaking of refining crude, and companies sitting on DUCs.Good. We don't need additional production, we need additional refining capacity. It's a combination of US refineries operating at peak permitted levels currently, and yes, DUCs. It's more valuable for the O&G companies to sit on prospective wells than it is to drill them and overload the market and potentially lower global crude prices. We're never going to see sub-$2/gal for gas ever again, barring some major shift I can't think of.=
I don't disagree. I assume you are speaking of refining crude, and companies sitting on DUCs.
Trump will only make it easier to environmentally cut thru the red tape to be able to drill, IMO.
Most of if not all of the "oil" from fracking is refined elsewhere. The industry has become much more consolidated since say the last Trump term. Private producers are now mainly controlled by much larger public firms who only care about stockholder returns. I think additional drill production still has its place to help the US become for energy secure!
um because they are hoarding all the wealth in this country.Tax cuts for the rich are not a bad thing.
Why do democrats demonize billionaires?
You've brought 0 to this thread. AGAIN, if you would please like to explain how deporting 50% of the farm work force is going to lower grocery prices. Please help me to understand. This is what y'all get for trying to engage in meaningful discourse with a worthless troll. There's no reason to ever have a conversation with him.
um because they are hoarding all the wealth in this country.
Because hoarding their wealth is bad for the economy.
Facts are that it has gotten worse and worse for the average american, to fund buying homes and cars and groceries.
Billionaires are a disgusting example of a system that is sick.
Deporting 50% of the labor force, in a vacumm, would cause a price increase. However, in reality this will not happen in a vacuum. Vacuums only happen in outer space and in the physics labs. There will be other massively deflationary forces coming, along with the US being a sovereign nation and can allow in more labor at it's pleasure. You've brought 0 to this thread. AGAIN, if you would please like to explain how deporting 50% of the farm work force is going to lower grocery prices. Please help me to understand.
The fact that you guys cannot just accept that it doesn't make sense, and that its impossible... is sad.
? I think Trump's deportation plan is going to be an unmitigated disaster. It's red meat for dullards to latch onto because those goobers need a scapegoat to blame for all of their problems and they refuse to look at the billionaire and corporate class that has caused all the major issues over the last 40+ years. Also, what makes it even tastier is they've been hoodwinked by the richest man on earth, and another billionaire, into thinking they actually give a shit about the common man and aren't out to further enrich themselves. You've brought 0 to this thread. so, how is he going to lower energy prices? This is like whacka mole, he says he's going to lower grocery prices, when pressed, says thats really hard who knows.
Not exactly agreeing or disagreeing with you here, but cutting the budget or trade deficits would be bad news for the economy. I guess I'd say that I disagree with the almost psychological obsession Republicans and Democrats both seem to have now with the word deficit. In a strange way, the US exporting more relatively speaking serves to hurt the US.We don't have the same issues that Argentina had so let's be honest here - a couple of multi-billionaires will be deciding how much someone's $1200 a month Social Security check will be cut to make room for their unnecessary tax cuts that will add trillions to the deficit. Don't leave that part out.
That's what I've said for 20 years. The "MEDIA" is our enemy. They have told lies for at least 5 decades with no recourse. What's really sad is when the lying has been proven, but people still believe the lies!
"Why can't we just ****ing tax the billioinaires and pay for daycare? eh?" You just love the thought of other people paying YOUR bills don't you?so, how is he going to lower energy prices? This is like whacka mole, he says he's going to lower grocery prices, when pressed, says thats really hard who knows.
Now today he says he's going to lower energy prices. how?
We already are drilling more than we ever have before. So is the solution to just flood the market with more crude? Ok... but that may not achieve what he wants/
Why can't we just ****ing tax the billioinaires and pay for daycare? eh?
Why don't you tax the billionaires at 100% and then you still won't have solved a fraction of the problem and you will have killed all the businesses. You also will have done irreparable harm and will not be able to recruit new business.so, how is he going to lower energy prices? This is like whacka mole, he says he's going to lower grocery prices, when pressed, says thats really hard who knows.

No one has any idea. That is the problem. He doesn't understand WTF he is doing. What in the literal Hell is this ass-clown doing now?
Biden working to effectively ban cigarettes in 11th hour
He doesn't even know the answer to that question. What in the literal Hell is this ass-clown doing now?

If Trump does even half of this, will you STFU, and give him a pat on the back? We'll just have to see... I'm sure everyone on here knows how I feel about Trump. But he won the election fair and square and he gets the chance to do what he said he was going to do.
Some things I'm looking forward to:
Energy prices going down.
Grocery prices going down.
Reducing the national debt and government spending (a la Musk) by $2 Trillion.
Tariffs reducing inflation and increasing manufacturing in the US.
Stopping the war in Ukraine before he even goes into office/in 24 hours.
We'll see how it goes. One thing we all can agree on. If Trump gets the above done, he'll take full credit. If he doesn't, he will blame others.
His high speed rail that turned into a little tunnel that teslas drive through. the dude has been exposed as a vaporware salesman for the better part of 6 years. Yet here we are. It's a pretty standard Muskism - make wildly outlandish claim only to have it fail spectacularly. We will have full self drive capabilities by 2018, will have people on Mars by 2020, his Tesla AI coders will solve the bot problem on twitter, San Francisco Hawthorne tunnel, and now we will cut AT LEAST $2t from gov't inefficiencies.
I will ABSOLUTELY give him credit if he get even ONE of those things on his list of promises done. And a return question... If he CAN'T get half that list done, will you admit that he's ineffective as hell and is full of shit?If Trump does even half of this, will you STFU, and give him a pat on the back?
Still waiting @Allornothing. I will give Trump credit if he gets these things done. Will you bust his chops if he doesn't and starts blaming others? Always interesting how Trump is more than willing to blame any and everyone else, but never seems to hold himself accountable in any way. His supporters seem to be the same way.I will ABSOLUTELY give him credit if he get even ONE of those things on his list of promises done. And a return question... If he CAN'T get half that list done, will you admit that he's ineffective as hell and is full of shit?
How? They don't have any government power.
Imagine thinking Elon was poorly educated and that HE was the one misunderstanding. How? They don't have any government power.
This is hilarious, however dangerous, watching poorly educated misunderstanding the fundamentals of how our government works.
He's the one grifting. Your the one falling for it.Imagine thinking Elon was poorly educated and that HE was the one misunderstanding.
What is he grifting? What am i falling for? He's the one grifting. Your the one falling for it.
smh go back read again. He's promising nonesense to you, you are falling for it as it relates to the government and what he's going to do.What is he grifting? What am i falling for?
He makes great products. I gladly paid the price he wanted for the products i received. His products are priced much better than available alternatives. What am i falling for?
He didnt claim to invent Tsla.smh go back read again. He's promising nonesense to you, you are falling for it as it relates to the government and what he's going to do.
He didn't invent tsla, he didnt' invent spaceX. He lies about being a world class video gamer. He's just a salesman. He's good at it, and he got you pretty good.
What if I don’t make ‘over 400k a year’ fvck me I’m dead? Trump definitely cares about the little guy.I think it's fair to say that many of Trump's policies are inflationary in the short term. Logic suggests reducing cheap undocumented labor and replacing it with higher cost legal labor will raise prices. Tariffs would raise prices in the short term. Shifting production away from China and to the US or other non-adversarial countries will raise prices. RFKjr banning harmful additives in our food supply will raise prices.
That said, I don't really give a shit. I'm willing to pay more for stuff if we fix immigration, ditch our dependence on China, clean up our food supply, etc. I just don't see how you do those things while simultaneously lowering costs.
He claims to be the founder of TSLA. Thats a lieHe didnt claim to invent Tsla.
Idgaf about video games in the slightest nor if he exagerrates his claims. I simply don't care.
He hasn't "gotten" me at all. In fact it's quite the opposite. I think i've gotten the best of everyone else.
Everyone else is still driving around in their dinosour car's that are slow and inefficient. I got 2 Teslas for ~$50k each that are better than a $75k BMW or Mercedes. Everyone else is slow interent out near my farm, while i get great internet with Starlink. X gives me the best news platform on earth for $8 a month.
All of that and my cars are paid for by my investment in the stock. The Muskonomy has been very very good to me.
No, in his biography he makes very clear that he was an investor in Tesla and he gives credit to the people that actually started Tesla. He claims to be the founder of TSLA. Thats a lie
You don't care that a man you claim has good motives and is the richest in the world, whom you are ready to sign over power of our governmetn to, with its access to our tax dollars, you don't care that he's a ****ing liar? Oh ok
I dont think it's fair to say that Trumps polcies are inflationary in the short term. Inflation averaged under the targeted goal during the Trump admin, this despite Tariffs being implemented. To be fair, we must render fair judgement.I think it's fair to say that many of Trump's policies are inflationary in the short term. Logic suggests reducing cheap undocumented labor and replacing it with higher cost legal labor will raise prices. Tariffs would raise prices in the short term. I'll take the "Pat on the Back" bet. The last thing on the list is a bit ridiculous, but as I have said before, Trump just needs to STFU sometimes. I think 1,2 and 4 or doable in time. I'm still on the see it to believe it on 3.We'll just have to see... I'm sure everyone on here knows how I feel about Trump. But he won the election fair and square and he gets the chance to do what he said he was going to do.
