No, I never started this thread or any threads regarding our withdrawal. I think we can both agree it was horrible and heads should have rolled. Remember, the Trump administrations created the framework and started the process in motion and and then the Biden administration did nothing to stop or amend the plans. I consider both administrations to be complicit in that tragedy. Personally I think Biden should have been impeached and Trump prevented from running again because of this.

I am equal opportunity in criticizing current and past administrations unlike yourself.

Hegseth, aka "SECDEF without a clue", shared highly classified information (It would be considered SECRET at a minimum and probably TOP SECRET) on a need-to-know basis. This means that people who don't get access to it, because it has nothing to do with their role or job.

So, let's ask ourselves if his wife has a need to know about a military operation. The answer is definitely no.

His brother? He serves as the Department of Homeland Security liaison and senior adviser in DoD. This is not a homeland security issue, so he shouldn't have access to the information.

Personal lawyer? He is now the JAG in the Navy. Would he have a need-to-know? Maybe. Because any military operation goes through a review process based on the law of war.

Again...amateurville with him leading the Pentagon. You want to know why so many leaks from DoD? It is because they don't respect him. His military service was a joke. Being a Fox News correspondent and becoming the SECDEF is laughable.

Providing operational details via a communication tool that is probably hacked and monitored is atrocious. It could compromise future military operations.
