I admit that it is convenient sleight of hand to use the political ideology reversal that occurred between the 1860s and 1960s to nominally absolve the Republican party from blame in the sins of the past. I'll give you that. I withdraw the comment. But what about the rest of it?

Neo-Nazis and while supremacist build their platforms on national socialism. Which party is most closely aligned with Socialism?
Or better yet, which party has espoused near unanimous vociferous and vehement opposition to Socialism?
Which party is rampant with antisemitism?
Which part is the party of Zionism?

I try really hard to be respectful and mature, that crap makes it hard. Debate his policies,debate his performance, but attacking his sexuality should be off limits.
There's a lot of sophomoric comments on these boards. I can't claim that I don't engage in some of it myself, although I'd like to think it's always purely in jest. After all, I try not to take things too seriously.
Still, when trying to have conversations about political and social issues I do make my best effort to refrain from personal insults and attacks, even as posters hurl their invective at me. I do occasionally block posters when it gets over the top.
