I am not a fan of Bill Clinton but the Paula Jones payment was made with personal funds and totally done publicly--that is why the payment to McDougal the playmate Trump was also having an AFFAIR with was potentially legally fine too (although it was also done in secret too bc HE WAS HAVING AN AFFAIR WHILE HIS WIFE WAS PREGNANT).
BUT here is the problem--in usage of corporate funds for a purpose unrelated to legitimate corporate activities, since the underlying issue was not conduct engaged in by the business but the personal actions of Mr. Trump and falsified in violation of state laws, and in the usage of corporate funds where the purpose was to affect the outcome of an election through a secret payment in violation of election laws by calling it a legal retainer fee--you got legal troubles....

The information that has come to light about the abuse of power by our own government in recent years should concern every citizen. Weaponization of our justice system needs to stop. When Federal prosecutors decided to not move forward with this, it should have ended there. However, politcal money and ideology is playing a major role in this.
