He's got the truth on his side more so than not. He actually has a working brain, and is funny. I'll watch the Daily Show again.
Jon Stewart is a comedian. A smart, and mostly funny comic.
He’s like the Tucker Carlson of the left.
And like most comics, he has good takes and bad takes. And like many before him… his arguments are approached with a closed minded attitude. Hey it works… he is a multimillionaire who has been doing this for 40 years. Doesn’t mean he is “right” or philosophically strong… just means he is a really good entertainer.

Stewart spearheaded getting the 9-11 heroes health care in front of congress and the world. Tucker grifts idiots.
Elaborate, please. What has Tucker done that trumps all of the good that Stewart has done for so many other people? The amount of work he's done for the 9/11 victims fund alone trumps anything Tucker's done. There's also all the work he's put in with veterans including championing healthcare expansion for disabilities they suffered during service.
Tell me more about all the good Tucker's done for other people that are even to scale with just those two actions.

Both of them think of themselves as the moral compass of their beliefs, and those who disagree with them as ‘inferior’ or uneducated.
Both of them have made millions basking in their limelight while criticizing the very platforms that have made them rich, and both of them have supporters who will not question them regardless of what they say.
Jon Stewart has done some admirable things with his fame. That doesn’t make him infallible. I like the guy, he is entertaining, but he isn’t some paragon of truth or journalism.
Again, like Carlson he preaches from a bully pulpit and to an audience that doesn’t question them. (That’s usually because the audience agrees with them in advance)
And here’s where the similarities get aligned… they are not to be questioned. They are above reproach.

Jon Stewart broke the line and did the Daily Show during the strike without writers. Seth MacFarlane wrote a joke about that… and Stewart went ballistic, and demanded the joke be taken out of the Family Guy episode.
I believe you take what you do seriously, but don’t take yourself so serious. Stewart… like Carlson… take themselves too seriously, as do many who follow them like a northern star.
Biggest difference for me is Stewart uses his platform for good - Tucker uses his for disinformation.

As far as Tucker goes, I don't care who he supports politically, and every human has faults (obviously you have mental illness). He has exposed the left for what they are. He was not fired. Correct me if I am wrong, but FOX is still sending him a check as of this day. That's why he's on Twitter.
He's not able to go to another channel and make millions because he's under contract with FOX. The case did not go to trial because FOX did not want "discovery" in the Dominion case where all the liberal fraud/bull crap would come out.
FOX is essentially owned by the people that were suing them, so they basically settled a lawsuit by taking money from one account and putting it in another to avoid discovery.
