LGBT in MD teaching 3 year olds about drag queens…

But you have to give them credit for freeing us from the tyranny of pronouns.
THE HORROR OF THE PRONOUNS, THEY BITE

I'm just very thankful for the administration putting my hard earned tax dollars to fund a coalition against "Anti-Christian Bias." Christians really do be losing jobs, money, and are facing persecution every single day, all day, for believing in Jesus!

In the last week alone I've mis-gendered clients by the name of Kelly, Dana and Pat, that I've only communicated with through email. But at least I don't have to see those demonic he/she signature taglines. .

Ah man, I didn't realize this was something that just came out. Didn't know we weren't allowing Christians to worship freely. How mean!

Or if the anti-DEI Nazi's have their way, and we're right back to segregation in that same time period.
You understand I am not opposed to giving equal opportunity to everyone. I am opposed to giving preferential treatment to someone based on race, any race. We should strive for equality.

Yes, the classic Conservative stance. I could wax poetic about equity as the only means to achieving equality, but what's the point?

Go for it. Do you have a reasonable argument for equity? For instance, how is it beneficial for universities to assign different admission standards for students based on race?

That's a very specific example with no nuance that I have no time for- not being combative, but these conversations have happened between conservatives and progressives for the past decade (and longer, obviously). If you have any understanding of the conversation about race, being "woke," Critical Race Theory, white privilege, or systemic racism from the past decade or so, this conversation isn't worth having, as both of our minds are probably made up at this point.

I strongly believe the effects of slavery and Jim Crow have set people of color back TREMENDOUSLY in this country, and still does today. That's the conversation about equity. And of course, the government played into this as THE problem AND as a perceived "solution."

But tbh what's the point of having this conversation again? Its been rehashed ad nauseam.

The timing was impeccable. Look what the state of Washington is doing. This is outrageous. This is equity.

I said in 22 that dems advocating transgender ideology in schools and openly advocating from the WH was a line in the sand for American parents. I was correct then and nothing has changed. Keep it up libs with this insanity. The globalist leaders pushing this are more than likely involved in a cult related to this activity and desperately want to normalize it so they can do it in the open eventually.

Can you give us some names of dems "advocating" transgender ideology?

The entire party bozo. You know Joe and kamala did it from the WH.
I think you've watched too many LibsofTikTok videos and allowed them to form your opinion about an entire party. But for the record, accepting them as human beings is not the same as advocating, unless you mean advocating that they be treated like everyone else, because they are human beings.

It appears libs are correlating this to the civil rights movement, which is comparing apples to oranges. In no way are any lgbt treated remotely close to what those folks experienced in that movement. I don’t know a single person that hates a person simply because of their sexual orientation, not one. But forcing your ideology onto children as young as three is bound to rile people, and parents, up. This is divisive and serves no purpose.

I think the word you're looking for is 'identity' rather than 'ideology.' I would personally never equate the two.

Unfortunately for yall, and as much as you wish we did, (and funny enough, it's the actual problem with the democratic party) all progressives don't believe the same thing.

There's a vast array and spectrum of belief that makes up those that are progressive and left leaning.

I believe in equity, rights for all, lgbtq+ acceptance, even reparations for people of color as mentioned earlier, etc, and yet I believe identity politics are flawed and problematic as well.

I also think the dogma (a very core set of beliefs that you either HAVE TO adhere to or you're OUT) the left created the past few decade is abhorrent and very similar (in the exact opposite way) as the evangelical conservative dogma I grew up with.

I hate and hated both forms of dogma, it's unhealthy and toxic.

Not everyone is one note and believes all the sames things fam.

Good example- I have no problem with this. I also am in full support of reparations for black people in the U.S. but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Gross.

Not one person today had anything to do with slavery.

I’d go bankrupt and lock all my money in cryptocurrency before I ever paid a dollar of reparations.
