Guess who was in charge when the egg shortage started? Started 4 years ago?

Joe Biden and the Democrats

Now it will take years to fix as for you non farming geniuses it takes 6 to 8 months to get a chicken laying from the fertilized egg to the full-grown laying chicken

Like other policies it will take Trump a time to fix the MESS Biden and the Democrats have embedded in our society

Is that you Donald? Didn't I hear how all these prices were going to go down when Trump was President? I didn't hear anything about it taking a long time once Trump was actually in office either. And now it's Biden's fault. Par for the course.

Remember how he was going to stop the Ukraine war even before he was in office?

Even his followers didn't believe that prices were going to go down immediately or that he was going to stop the war before he got in office. They just love the lies.

I just paid 7.99 for a dozen eggs. I'm not rich like all you other folks on here, but I can somehow still afford eggs.

Not sure why this is even a thing, except to blame someone else. Water is wet, the sun rises in the east and it's NEVER EVER Donald Trump's fault.

And I'm certainly not a farming genius like you are, but hens usually lay their 1st egg at about 18 weeks (4.5 months) and ramp up from there. Just so you know. I'm sure it's still Biden's fault.

Edit: To be fair the incubation period for an egg is about 21 days... Three weeks, so 5 months and change

Doesn’t matter. Trump is in charge and said he would fix it. So, now it’s his problem because he is in charge.

Like most things Trump says…no follow through…because he doesn’t care about you or me. He cares about himself and people cheering him on for all the good he’s doing.

Republicans will cut Medicaid/Medicare and Social Security to pay for tax plan that will cost the U.S. more money over his presidency. Some of your and my family and friends rely on those programs to survive.

So, I can’t wait to see him spin this.

Dear @DrTigerGoob

If you are a doctor let me share one eternal truth

IT TAKES 9 MONTHS FOR ONE WOMAN TO HAVE A BABY

YOU CANNOT HAVE NINE WOMEN PREGNANT AND HAVE A BABY IN ONE MONTH

Now that I have enlightened you the facts are Trump came into office Jan 20th

The process to get the Sec of Agriculture in place took about another two weeks

The former ADMINISTRATION SLAUGHTERED HUNDREDS OF MILLION OF LAYING AGE CHICKENS INSTEAD OF DOING INNOCULATIONS

So, the present administration comes into office with a deficit of like 200,000 million chickens of laying age

Let me explain it takes a chicken to lay an egg and then it is fertilized by artificial methods to assure consistency

Next, they are incubated, hatched and spend weeks in the nursery at like 93 degrees to get to a size they can survive

Once to that size they get to a pen and are feed for about 6 months before they start laying

SO, IT IS A PROCESS OF ABOUT 6 MONTHS

CHECK BACK AROUND SEPTEMBER TO SEE HOW THE EGG SHORTAGE IS GOING BECAUSE ONLY GOD CAN FIX IT AS FAST AS YOU EXPECT IT TO BE FIXED

I INCLUDED A SIMPLETON'S EXPLANANTION OF THE PROCESS

My father and mother taught me to educate myself before I spoke on any subject

Giving you a starter site. Take a few hours and learn about raising food and farming

I raise and have egg laying chickens as a hobby in my retirement so I don't need eggs

give away dozens each week for kicks to neighbors

BTW if the domestic egg production is solved before the Fall credit God 's intervention just like I credit God for saving Donald Trump from the bullet encouraged from the masses such as you of hate and fear mongering

Just like the Blues Brothers Trump is on a mission from God

He's on a mission from God? Jesus.

Have you actually read the Bible? There is nothing about how Donald Trump treats anyone that is how God wants us to act. Nothing.

Between ending USAID, the tariff wars and the grants freeze, farmers are suffering.

Farmers put plans, investments on hold under Trump USDA spending freeze

  • USDA grant freeze impacts farmers' financial stability
  • Farmers face bankruptcy, economic uncertainty due to freeze
  • Trump administration's freeze affects USDA conservation, food programs
"Farmers and food organizations across the country are cutting staff, halting investments and missing key funding amid a USDA freeze on a broad swath of grants, more than two dozen farmers and agricultural support groups in seven states told Reuters.

All this comes as Trump has imposed new tariffs on goods from Canada, Mexico and China, sparking trade wars with the biggest buyers of U.S. farm products."

@PalmettoTiger1 Which egg do you prefer white or brown and why ?

Strange you ask that

I like brown snd only because I grew up with Rhode Island Reds

Have about a dozen fun hens of that ilk now but before Had something from Tractor Supply called Golden something

The RIR lay a smaller brown egg than the Golden

One issue I have with the brown is we feed high omega three feed from Purina which when trying to boil eggs makes them difficult to make a clean peel

White eggs when held several weeks when boiled peel easier and cleaner for deviled eggs

So to make deviled eggs we have to buy whites

Planning to get a few hens with the colored eggs for giggles

When I was a kit we had a medium sized farm and a good number of layers and broilers

I really don’t have an answer on the color of eggs other than I grew up with brown

The breed and feed determine the nutrition content of each egg you eat
