I have no idea what the US policy is on the Ukraine War, but I don’t imagine it involves marching to Moscow. Bleed Russia as long as they’re willing to allow it, and hope Ukraine doesn’t fall while that happens. That’s kind of what i always assumed the end game was

No. I keep arguing the laws are already in place to deal with a large majority of the migrants. And Joe refuses to enforce those laws. He could use Executive orders to further reduce those trying to illegally enter the country. And it would be great if our cities would rescind their "Sancutary City" advertising. And best would be legislation to address the problem. No bill should be hurried or misguided.
Legislation needs to
1) Be a stand alone bill. Not linked to any other issue.
2) Must address deporting the illegal immigrants already in the country
3) Confirm that anyone that illegally entered the country will never be able to vote. You must enter legally to have a vote in the future.
4) Allow 0 illegal crossings per day. Doesn't mean it won't happen, but we either have laws and a country or we don't.
5) The blll should explain how many legal immigrants we will allow every year and on what basis that number will be evaluated and adjusted.
If it takes a year to negotiate the bill, fine. If it takes a month thats fine too. If our country can handle 10,000 immigrants a day, fine. If our country can handle 50 immigrants a day, that is fine too. But we, both parites, are better than the shit show going on right now. We are capable of coming up with great immigration laws. Joes proposal is nothing close to what we need.
