Are you talking about the ruling by John Roberts that extended the time the Trump administration had before they were required to return a non-criminal, non-gang member who they illegally rounded up and sent to a hard labor camp in El Salvador?

The delay is only due to the challenge of getting a deported person back from a foreign prison.

Also, Pam Bondi suspended the lawyer because she claimed he didn't defend the admin hard enough. That's code for he told the truth, they ****ed up.

Ah, so they had another ruling tonight that I just had a chance to read up on. Sounds like it's a partial win for now while it's reviewed in the lower courts but at least it gives them the option to file habeas complaints so they aren't erroneously swept up for having tattoos that honor their parents or a non-criminal man with a wife and young children who are citizens. Nobody is opposed to sending out the criminal illegals, but they should be given due process at the very least so these mistakes don't happen again.
I wonder when the Supreme Court will return those 1800 criminals with thirty year sentences back to prison.

There were two cases. Both about immigration. Just saying it wasn't that big of a leap. That's all.

This is the problem with that line of thinking. These radical left judges should have known (I believe they did know and didn't care) they didn't have the authority/power to do this.
If your son was mistakenly taken off the street in a sweep of criminal gang members and sent to a prison camp in El Salvador, only then would you appreciate these "radical" judges.
And the Supreme Court didn't rule that they didn't have the power to do this, they paused it while the lower courts reviewed the ruling.

I get it. They were brash. But there were two court rulings on immigration and other one is embarrassing. So they were taking their victory lap in the same way the OP was taking on the other ruling.
First of all the alien enemies act had already been ruled on by scotus back in 40s or near. Second boasberg the liberal activist holding a judge position didn't even have jurisdiction to issue the injunction as the illegals were being held in Texas. This is elementary knowledge so it's obvious they are just obstructing just for the sake of it.

Will also add that the court case was about the use of the alien enemies act and about due process. Looks like they ruled they can continue to use the alien enemies act but also must provide them with a chance to respond prior to deportation (aka due process). And I also find it quite ridiculous to act like liberals are saying you can't deport dangerous gang bangers who are here illegally. That was never the argument. The argument was due process is due every single person in this country, illegal or not. But if they are found to be here illegal, following the law would be to deport them. Just like its ridiculous when the left cries racist or sexist about something because someone of color or a women is on one side of the argument (they may be racist or sexist but the left can be quick to pull the trigger).
