If this were that stock market it would be seen on the chart as a capitulation move.
We just elected the most corrupt criminal in presidential history, which gave him a free get out of jail card and now he's staffing his administration with a bunch of lawless ghouls, many of which have criminal prosecutions/investigations in their background.
The message is loud and clear - there is no such thing as right or wrong anymore and laws don't matter, so after dragging this man through hell for years simply to tarnish his father because he had the unmitigated gall to beat your orange clown, I say too bad, so sad. I think the President is dead wrong on this and I think it is a very bad move to pardon his son and sets a pretty awful precedent for the country. Presidents using pardons as favors for friends/family/loyalists is something that should stop.
The ones who applaud the pardon have no class, but prefer instead to make excuses for Hunter.
It wasn't Trump and it wasn't his son.
Now that he's nominated Kash Patel, all bets are off because it signals he has no plans to fairly and impartiallly follow the law, which means he probably would have come down even harder on Hunter who has already been drug through hell the last five years.

I have a daughter and son and will admit I most likely would pardon them under almost every imaginable circumstance.
Would it be the right thing.More than likely wrong under any circumstance.
Saying that I would more than likely do it and find myself in Joe Biden’s corner in pardoning his son.
So Joe it’s wrong, I would done it too and I don’t know how I would have handled the lying about not doing it up to the pardon.
