about 75 miles from Columbia , not really close anything..Maybe Turbeville or Manning would be the closest Town.Where is that exactly?

New Zion its a cross roads basically outside turbeviille ..Near Lake city ish.Where is that exactly?
Strange because a reporter has claimed an arrest has been madeSomeone on another board just claimed it wasn't murder. Not sure what else it would be other than a possible overdose.
It would make sense with the lack of details meaning they aren’t sure the cause of deathSomeone on another board just claimed it wasn't murder. Not sure what else it would be other than a possible overdose.
I bet it was, in fact, her Uber driver.if the perpetrator was in this car, there were not a lot of questions asked...just a sad situation...video link below

Welcome to college?-21 years old
-female by yourself
-2am
So you’d prefer her to drive drunk? Ok...You don’t get into an uber or any car with a stranger as a young female at 2am, period.
I agree. I was about to say the same thing. Some of those people are just odd.I bet it was, in fact, her Uber driver.
But it wasn’t her Uber driver it she thought it was the Uber driver showed up and waited then canceled & picked up another fare.I agree. I was about to say the same thing. Some of those people are just odd.
Not shocking at all that there are such d-bags in the world. a young girl gets raped and murdered and you have nothing to add to the conversation other than to call her dumb. You think what I said is some sort of shocking revelation? I’m not the only one who thinks it. Heard that mentioned plenty.
Dude...
Thats crazy, I know that area well, plenty of secluded spotsNew Zion its a cross roads basically outside turbeviille ..Near Lake city ish.
Unbelievable. The son of a bitch was driving around the exact same area 24 hours later with the girls cellphone and blood in the car. Thank god for the girls family and the community he was that arrogant, or stupid, or whatever to return to the scene like that and get his ass bustedBlack male born in 93. She thought it was her Uber. He dumped her body in a turkey field in Clarendon county. Blood was found along with bleach and cleaning supplies. Suspect fled on foot after normal traffic stop and apprehended. Kudos to CPD

Yep...unbelievable. A college kid is trying to be responsible, gets preyed on and somehow people can justify coming on a message board and saying how “kids these days...”
My goodness...this could happen to anyone
The odds of TT killing someone went up infinity percent the day his daughter was born. I know exactly what I would do, I just hope and pray no one is dumb enough to bring that upon themselves.I feel like I have been cutting onions after reading that. I don't know what I would do if anything horrible happened to my baby girl.
I don’t think anyone is on a high horse for thinking women could do a better job of avoiding dangerous situations. Call me sexist if you want but no woman should go out drinking or go home without a friend. Buddy system exists for a reason. And if you do allow your friend to go home alone, you make damn sure she gets in the right car
No they’re not. They’re realists. A young girl was shitface at a bar and was preyed on by a monster. It’s terribly tragic. No one ITT needs a lesson in risk management. You’re a moron. Some people ITT are completely ignorant to the concept of risk management.
Yep. Only one decision in this entire scenario led to her being murdered and that was the decision by the guy to murder her. We need to stop telling women what they need to do to stop from being raped and murdered and start holding the people that commit these acts accountable for their actions. There is too much victim blaming and too much coddling of the people that commit these acts. It’s rather sickening.I agree but come on...put yourself back in college and everyone drinking at 2 a.m. A lot of “plans” don’t happen. For people to sit here and place blame on her or her friends is ridiculous or try to say “she should have done better” we’re probably perfect angels in college and never made stupid drunk mistakes.
This asshole preyed on a drunk girl in 5 Points that lost her friends.
I’m not disputing that at all. I simply said certain things could hopefully be avoided. We should be educating young people on this type of thing, not the BS dangers of alcohol course most schools make you takeI agree but come on...put yourself back in college and everyone drinking at 2 a.m. A lot of “plans” don’t happen. Being in college gives you a license to be a shitty, flaky friend??I agree but come on...put yourself back in college and everyone drinking at 2 a.m. A lot of “plans” don’t happen. The problem is we “victim blame” after the fact instead of doing a better job of educating priorYep. And how is it exactly blaming? No one is saying she asked for it. Or that her friends did. Just saying people should be more responsible to avoid dangerous situations. Would you walk down a dark inner city alley late at night alone? No you wouldn’t and it wouldn’t be your fault for being jumped if you did but it certainly could have been avoided knowing the potential danger.Being an adult on a message board gives people the right to point the finger at this girl and her friends for some asshole who preyed on her?
I’d say the people who are putting blame on her are much worse than her and her college friends that she got separated from while drinking.

I think that’s a fair argument and not blaming by any means. The best way to defeat crime and sin will always be preventative not punitive
Hyperbole?Being an adult on a message board gives people the right to point the finger at this girl and her friends for some asshole who preyed on her?

Too many people are harping on it being a female in question. It’s not a good idea for a male to go eitherHyperbole?
Simple question...was it a good idea for her to get in a car, with a stranger, alone?
