Massive election inference covered up by the government and two-tiered justice system

Here are some of the main findings:

  • “The FBI discounted or willfully ignored material information that did not support the narrative of a collusive relationship between Trump and Russia.”
  • Crossfire Hurricane “was opened as a full investigation without [the FBI] ever having spoken to the persons who provided that information.” Days after it was opened, Peter Strzok was telling a London FBI employee that “there’s nothing to this.”
  • Internal FBI communications discussing the Crossfire Hurricane during its early stages: it’s “thin” and “it sucks”.
  • British Intelligence pushed back on Mueller requests for assistance: “[a British Intelligence person] basically said there was no [expletive] way in hell they were going to do it.”
  • Durham documents TWO investigations into Hillary Clinton - one involving the Clinton Foundation and one involving illegal foreign contributions to Clinton’s Campaign.
  • In one Clinton Campaign investigation, an FBI confidential human source (CHS) had offered an illegal foreign contribution to the campaign through an intermediary. The Clinton Campaign was “okay with it” and “were fully aware”. The CHS offered the FBI a copy of the credit card charge; the FBI never got receipts. In fact, the FBI handling agent told the CHS “to stay away from all events relating to Clinton’s campaign.”

  • In February 2016, FBI Assistant Director Andrew McCabe directed the Clinton Foundation investigation to be shut down. He walked that back after receiving push-back, but McCabe made sure that his approval was required for any further investigative steps.
  • The New York Field Office was called on behalf of FBI Director Comey and informed to “cease and desist” from the Clinton Foundation investigation.
  • The FBI and DOJ restricted both of those Clinton investigations, making sure that “essentially no investigative activities occurred for months leading up to the election.” In comparison, the FBI opened a full investigation into the Trump Campaign based on unvetted “intelligence”.
  • The CIA had direct knowledge of the Clinton plan (“Clinton Plan”) to vilify Trump by linking him to Putin and Russia. On August 3, 2016, CIA Director John Brennon met with President Obama, VP Biden, and other senior Administration officials, including but not limited to Attorney General Loretta Lynch and FBI Director James Comey. At that meeting, Brennan informed them of the Clinton Plan:

  • Somehow, the FBI did nothing to vet or investigate the Clinton Plan - even though they were using parts of the Clinton Plan (the Steele Reports) - to investigate the Trump Campaign. Durham writes: “No FBI personnel who were interviewed by the Office recalled Crossfire Hurricane personnel taking any action to vet the Clinton Plan intelligence.”
  • In fact, it was as if the CIA’s Clinton Plan memo was somehow buried within the FBI. Most members of Crossfire Hurricane “had never seen the intelligence before”. And, as we have previously discussed, it was never disclosed to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in contravention to that court’s local rules.
  • FBI Director James Comey was deeply interested in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation and micromanaged it, demanding the Carter Page FISA warrant, telling Assistant Director Andrew McCabe: “Where is the FISA, where is the FISA?”
  • The FBI knew, relatively early, that its Carter Page FISA warrants were dubious. That FBI knowledge only intensified by 2018, as FBI analysts discussed how “Steele’s subsources could have been compromised by the Russians.” They were going to prepare their findings in a memorandum. FBI Deputy Assistant Director for Counterintelligence, Dina Corsi, met with the review team and directed them not to document any recommendations, context, or analysis in the memorandum they were preparing.” An FBI attorney was at that meeting. “He confirmed that the team was told not to write any more memoranda or analytical pieces and to provide their findings orally.” Corsi’s demands, according to one FBI Attorney, were “the most inappropriate operational or professional statement he had ever heard at the FBI.”

  • Igor Danchenko, the Steele primary subsource charged with (and acquitted of) lying to the FBI, was paid $220K by the FBI as a confidential human source. This was paid after the FBI knew Danchenko lied to them. As the Durham Investigation proceeded, Durham learned “the FBI proposed making continued future payments to Danchenko, totaling more than $300,000, while [Durham] was actively investigating this matter.” The FBI, in effect, was seeking to influence a key witness who would later face criminal charges.
  • The FBI’s reasons for paying Danchenko were certainly curious. Interviews with Durham’s office revealed: “the FBI's Executive Assistant Director for National Security, made clear that they were not even able to accurately describe the value or contributions of Danchenko that would justify keeping him open, much less making hundreds of thousands of dollars in payments to him.”

FBI Issues Weak Response – Admits Fault in Durham Report, Claims “Missteps Identified in the Report Could Have Been Prevented”

By Jim Hoft May. 15, 2023 9:34 pm

On Monday, the FBI released a response to the damning report by Special Counsel John Durham, who determined that the DOJ and FBI “failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law” when they opened an investigation into the Trump-Russia collusion hoax.
The agency issued a weak response in which it admits fault in the Durham report and claims that “dozens of corrective actions” have already been implemented as a result of the investigation.
“The conduct in 2016 and 2017 that Special Counsel Durham examined was the reason that current FBI leadership already implemented dozens of corrective actions, which have now been in place for some time,” the agency said in a statement.

The FBI argues that the agency’s error in Durham’s investigation might have been avoided if the recommended measures had been implemented sooner.
“Had those reforms been in place in 2016, the missteps identified in the report could have been prevented. This report reinforces the importance of ensuring the FBI continues to do its work with the rigor, objectivity, and professionalism the American people deserve and rightly expect,” the agency concluded.

Special Counsel John Durham released his final report concluding the FBI had no verified intel when it opened the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into Trump in 2016, as reported by Just the News.
Special Counsel John Durham released a damning final report Monday after more than three years investigating the Russia collusion probe, declaring the FBI had no verified intelligence or evidence when it opened up the Crossfire Hurricane probe of President Donald Trump’s campaign in the summer of 2016.
“Neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation,” Durham wrote in a 300-plus page report sent to Congress and others and obtained by Just the News. DOJ was slated to make the report public later Monday.
The prosecutor faulted the FBI and Justice Department for failing to follow their own standards and allowing a probe to persist, including the surveillance of an American citizen without basis under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
“Based on the review of Crossfire Hurricane and related intelligence activities, we concluded the Department and the FBI failed to uphold their important mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in this report,” Durham wrote.
According to John Durham’s report, Hillary Clinton’s plan to link Trump’s campaign to Russia was briefed by former CIA Director John Brennan to Barack Obama and Joe Biden in August 2016!
“In late July 2016, US intelligence agencies obtained insight into Russian intelligence analysis alleging that US Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had approved a campaign plan to stir up a scandal against US Presidential candidate Donald Trump by tying him to Putin and the Russians’ hacking of the Democratic National Committee. The IC does not know the accuracy of this allegation of the extent to which the Russian intelligence analysis may reflect exaggeration or fabrication,” the Durham report stated.
“According to his handwritten notes, CIA Director Brennan subsequently briefed President Obama and other senior national security officials on the intelligence, including the “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 26, 2016 of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming inference by Russian security services,” the report said.
President Trump responded to Special Counsel John Durham’s final report on his investigation into the origins of Spygate.
“WOW! After extensive research, Special Counsel John Durham concludes the FBI never should have launched the Trump-Russia Probe! In other words, the American Public was scammed, just as it is being scammed right now by those who don’t want to see GREATNESS for AMERICA!” Trump said.

Special Counsel John Durham released his final report concluding the FBI had no verified intel when it opened the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into Trump in 2016, according to Just the News.
In July of 2016, Peter Strzok opened a counterintel investigation into Trump’s camp dubbed “Crossfire Hurricane” on suspicions (based on no evidence) that the Russians had infiltrated Trump’s circle.
The CI investigation was based on lies conjured up by Hillary Clinton and her paid for fake Russia dossier.

According to John Durham’s report, Hillary Clinton’s plan to link Trump’s campaign to Russia was briefed by former CIA Director John Brennan to Barack Obama and Joe Biden in August 2016!

BRENNAN BRIEFED OBAMA AND BIDEN IN A MEETING AT THE WHITE HOUSE IN AUGUST 2016
“On August 3, 2016, within days of receiving the Clinton Plan intelligence, Director Brennan met with the President, Vice President and other senior Administration officials, including but not limited to the Attorney General (who participated remotely) and the FBI Director, in the White House Situation Room to discuss Russian election interference efforts. According to Brennan’s handwritten notes and his recollections from the meeting, he briefed on relevant intelligence known to date on Russian election interference, including the Clinton Plan intelligence. Specifically, Director Brennan’s declassified handwritten notes reflect that he briefed the meeting’s participants regarding the “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on 26 July of a proposal from one of her [campaign] advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security services.” the report said.

The usual suspects also met in a secret meeting in the Oval Office shortly before Trump’s 2017 inauguration.
Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Sally Yates, James Comey, Susan Rice, John Brennan and James Clapper all were in the January 2017 Oval Office meeting discussing the phony Russia dossier and General Flynn’s phone calls with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

Top 10 takeaways from Durham report

The report represents the culmination of a years-long effort by the prosecutor to undercover the origins of the collusion narrative.

Special Counsel John Durham on Monday released a 300-plus page report critical of the FBI, Justice Department and the entire U.S. intelligence community for its pursuit of an investigation into alleged collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and the Russian government without evidence to substantiate the underlying allegations.
Here are some of the key takeaways:
File
Durham Report
Government Had No Evidence
  • "Neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation," Durham wrote. Crossfire Hurricane is the FBI codename for the investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign.
  • Durham contended that, had the FBI followed its own procedures, the bureau "would have learned that their own experienced Russia analysts had no information about Trump being involved with Russian leadership officials, nor were others in sensitive positions at the CIA, the NSA, and the Department of State aware of such evidence concerning the subject."
No New Charges
  • Durham did not recommend that any additional people face charges stemming from his investigation.
  • He previously pursued cases against former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann and Steele Dossier contributor Igor Danchenko, but was unsuccessful.
U.S. Foreign Allies Refused to Aid in the Effort
  • United Kingdom intelligence service officials were unwilling to aid in the investigation, contending that it was devoid of predicating evidence.
  • "Later in the Fall of 2016, UK ALAT-1 was at FBI Headquarters with some of his British Intelligence Service-I counterparts," Durham notes, referencing a UK intelligence official. "While there, members of the Crossfire Hurricane team played the audio/visual recordings of CHS-1 's August 20, 2016 meeting with Carter Page. UK ALAT-1 said the effect on the British Intelligence Service-I personnel was not positive because of the lack of any evidence corning out of the conversation."
  • "UK ALAT-1 told the OIG that after watching the video one of his British colleagues said, 'For [expletive] sake, man. You went through a lot of trouble to get him to say nothing,'" Durham continued. "At a later point in time, after the Mueller Special Counsel team was in place, UK ALAT-1 said that 'the Brits finally had enough,' and in response to a request for some assistance '[a British Intelligence Service-I person] basically said there was no [expletive] way in hell they were going to do it.'"
Former Intel Officials Promoted the Narrative Despite Knowing There Was No Evidence
  • Former CIA Director John Brennan came into Durham's crosshairs for his repeated public remarks supporting the narrative that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government.
  • "I encountered and am aware of information and intelligence that revealed contacts and interactions between Russian officials and U.S. persons involved in the Trump campaign," he told the House Intelligence Committee in 2017. President Trump’s Claims of No Collusion Are Hogwash" Brennan wrote for the New York Times in 2018.
Key Foreign Affairs Officials Saw No Evidence
  • Victoria Nuland, who served as undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Department of State, and is one of that agency's "most experienced Russian observers," told Durham's team she "never saw any U.S. government proof of the allegations contained in the Steele reporting regarding Trump and Russian officials, and further stated that to her recollection no information regarding a well-coordinated conspiracy between Trump and the Russians had ever come across her desk, with one exception."
  • "Nuland advised that she had received a two-page summary of the Steele allegations from Jonathan Winer," Durham wrote. The Steele dossier has been thoroughly discredited.
The Clinton Campaign Was Behind The Whole Thing
  • "The FBl's actions with respect to other highly significant intelligence it received from a trusted foreign source pointing to a Clinton campaign plan to vilify Trump by tying him to Vladimir Putin so as to divert attention from her own concerns relating to her use of a private email server," the report concluded. "Unlike the FBI's opening of a full investigation of unknown members of the Trump campaign based on raw, uncorroborated information, in this separate matter involving a purported Clinton campaign plan, the FBI never opened any type of inquiry, issued any taskings, employed any analytical personnel, or produced any analytical products in connection with the information.”
  • "This lack of action was despite the fact that the significance of the Clinton plan intelligence was such as to have prompted the Director of the CIA to brief the President, Vice President, Attorney General, Director of the FBI, and other senior government officials about its content within days of its receipt," Durham added. "It was also of enough importance for the CIA to send a formal written referral memorandum to Director Corney and the Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI's Counterintelligence Division, Peter Strzok, for their consideration and action."
There Were Double Standards for Trump and Clinton
  • "The speed and manner in which the FBI opened and investigated Crossfire Hurricane during the presidential election season based on raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence also reflected a noticeable departure from how it approached prior matters involving possible attempted foreign election interference plans aimed at the Clinton campaign," Durham wrote.
  • "In one such matter...FBI Headquarters and Department officials required defensive briefings to be provided to Clinton and other officials or candidates who appeared to be the targets of foreign interference," he added. "In another, the FBI elected to end an investigation after one of its longtime and valuable CHSs went beyond what was authorized and made an improper and possibly illegal financial contribution to the Clinton campaign on behalf of a foreign entity as a precursor to a much larger donation being contemplated."
  • "These examples are also markedly different from the FBl's actions with respect to other highly significant intelligence it received from a trusted foreign source pointing to a Clinton campaign plan to vilify Trump by tying him to Vladimir Putin so as to divert attention from her own concerns relating to her use of a private email server," Durham continued.
Clinton Opposition Research Firm Fusion GPS Went to the Media Before the FBI
  • Before handing over their materials to law enforcement, Fusion GPS and Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann approached a media outlet to secure coverage of the materials.
  • "Prior to providing the unfounded Alfa bank claims to the FBI, Sussmann and Fusion GPS (the Clinton campaign's opposition research firm) had provided the same information to various news organizations and were pressing reporters to write articles about the alleged secret communications channel," Durham wrote. "Moreover, during his September 2016 meeting at the FBI, Sussmann told Baker that an unnamed news outlet was in possession of the information and would soon publish a story about it."
  • "The disclosure of the media's involvement caused the FBI to contact the news outlet whose name was eventually provided by Sussmann in the hope of delaying any public reporting on the subject," he continued. "In doing so it confirmed for the New York Times that the FBI was looking into the matter."
  • "On October 31, 2016, less than two weeks before the election, the New York Times and others published articles on the Alfa Bank matter and the Clinton campaign issued tweets and public statements on the allegations of a secret channel of communications being used by the Trump Organization and a Russian bank -allegations that had been provided to the media and the FBI by Fusion GPS and Sussmann, both of whom were working for the Clinton campaign," the report concluded.
Media Reporting on Trump-Russia Collusion
  • Articles by The New York Times, Slate, and Mother Jones regarding the Trump-Russia collusion narrative were cited by the report for the inaccurate information they published. Durham noted that some reports by the Times were debunked by Strzok, while others, such as those by Slate and Mother Jones, were based on information the Clinton campaign was pushing regarding the Alfa Bank allegation.
  • Regarding the Times' reports, "the FBI's own records show that reports published by The New York Times in February and March 2017 concerning what four unnamed current and former U.S. intelligence officials claimed about Trump campaign personnel being in touch with any Russian intelligence officers was untrue."
Durham Recommends No New Policies, But Advises DOJ and FBI to Follow Existing Ones
  • "This report does not recommend any wholesale changes in the guidelines and policies that the Department and the FBI now have in place to ensure proper conduct and accountability in how counterintelligence activities are carried out…the answer is not the creation of new rules but a renewed fidelity to the old," he wrote.

Who knew our democracy was indeed under threat, just not from the white supremacists Biden keeps suggesting but instead from himself, Obama, Hillary and several weaponized 3 letter agencies.

What they should do now is go back and track all of the people associated and see which have been appointed to larger roles under this admin. I bet the numbers are eye opening.

More whistleblowers coming forward now.......this one specific to the embellished domestic terrorism narrative being pushed by the admin.

If you would just do some of your own research and not parrot media, you would know that Papadopoulos was coerced into the guilty plea. But you won't. You will continue to regurgitate MSM and other sources who have proven time and again to be flat out wrong. This is why you believe so many things that weren't true including Russian Collusion and 50 intellgence agents. At the same time you probably think our elections are free and fair. There is no helping you people and its the reason we need a National Divorce.

You are so petrified of where this all could go from here, you'll spend the rest of the day deep digging the internet for anything that helps you deny that Biden and Obama helped Hillary spy on and attack a political opponent using tax payer funded govt agencies.

The potential of this swinging the middle vote back to Trump might be larger than you think........

Can any of the resident lefties comment on the Durham Report? Been mighty quiet from you guys last couple days.

1. You should not be posting, so don’t tag me. A man who welches on a bet is not a man at all.

2. Sorry I have not made this my top priority like the losers in this thread.

3. The Durham report is a nothingburger. Mistakes were made and more skepticism should have been applied before starting the investigation into trump. Of course, that investigation ended with convictions, while Durham’s did not. Durham himself says in his report he did not find corruption or any politically motivated actions by the FBI. None. He also did not call for any major changes. The FBI has already made changes to how the these types of investigations can occur, they must go through the AG.

I am sure that you losers will parrot trumps talking points like the little lap dog bitches you are. But in the end…

NOTHINGBURGER.

Doesn't matter what led him to plead guilty, we KNOW he was the reason the investigation was launched. Not because of the dossier, and not because of anything Obama or Biden did - it was Papadopolous. No debate here!

This report is not the bombshell you think it is but we know you'll whine and complain about the findings for months now, thinking it gives you some kind of moral superiority - though we know you don't have morals, because if you did, you'd honor your bet, you sad little crybaby.

  • The FBI decided to investigate whether President Trump's campaign colluded with Russia after early foreign-policy adviser George Papadopoulos told a top Australian diplomat that Russia had compromising information on Hillary Clinton, The New York Times reported.
  • Though there were several events that prompted the bureau to investigate the campaign, Papadopoulos' conversation with the diplomat was reportedly the one that led the bureau to formally launch its probe.
  • Newly obtained emails also show that Papadopoulos' reach and influence within the campaign was greater than previously known.

I mean, this is a pretty big deal. You had the FBI launch a major investigation, a special counsel investigation and major house impeachment hearings for a duly elected president all for something that was basically bullshit.

As Jake Tapper said on CNN, this is a black eye for the FBI. It also just furthers the distrust the American people (rightly) have in their elected officials and the federal government. Whether it be corruption or incompetence, it doesn’t really matter. Credibility continues to erode.

Have you lost your mind? What do the special counsel investigation and impeachment hearings have to do with the Collusion investigation? The impeachment hearings were legitimate as was the special counsel. The cases were proven in the impeachment hearings but Republicans were afraid to convict, just look what happened to the ones that did. The man should have been thrown out of office, never to be allowed to run again but because you have a report that says the FBI should "do better next time" all of his other corruption should be dismissed? C'mon man...

Again. The report found no corruption, no political motivation. Mistakes? Yes. But those have already been corrected. That is why Durham recommended no major changes. These are facts and they are undeniable.

The irony is strong here.

You are outraged that the FBI launched an investigation into trump based on faulty evidence and suspect claims.

Simultaneously, you are outraged that the FBI is not launching an investigation into Biden based on faulty evidence and suspect claims.

GOP: We have seen evidence that Joe Biden committed crimes.
America: OK, can we see the evidence please?
GOP: We cannot find it right now, but the FBI should launch an investigation immediately.

It sounds awfully familiar to...

Guiliani: I have evidence of mass election fraud.
America: OK, can we see the evidence please?
Guiliani: I can't show it to you.

We later learned that the "evidence" he was touting was facebook posts he saw.

I can... People called the Durham report and his investigation into it the Crime of the Century... HEADS WERE GOING TO ROLL.

Here's the REAL bottom line:

Durham has NOTHING. MUCH MUCH worse than the Mueller Report... hell at least a few folks went to jail in Mueller's work.

Durham tried 3 people. One of them plead guilty to altering an email and didn't serve a day in jail. The other 2 people were found innocent by a jury. So after 4 years of investigation, Durham has 1 minor crime and is 0-2 prosecuting these folks.

I'm surprised you Trumpians are talking about it. The Mueller Report made a lot of claims too... But you guys were quick to say that Trump wasn't prosecuted so he MUST BE INNOCENT. Same thing here. Durham is long on accusations and blame in his report and yet when it comes to actually prosecuting (and REMEMBER, he's a special prosecutor, that was the whole point of his investigation, right?)... let's just say he comes up a little short.

Show me in the report where durham claims corruption or political motivation. If I am lying, it should be pretty easy for you to show where in the report these claims are made.
Dude, they haven't read the report. They are going off talking points in their links. To be honest I haven't read it either and doubt I will. Durham was a prosecutor tasked with investigating and prosecuting any crimes he found... After 4 years, all he got was a guilty plea for altering an email and two lost trials. That's the bottom line... Special Prosecutor gets nothing.

It kind of reminds me of the Cyber Nina's report on Arizona. They had a one page executive summary basically saying Biden won. Then 100 pages of what they "found". Same thing here. Durham came up empty and ended up prosecuting no one. THEN he gives us 300 pages of BS to cover up that there's no crime to be prosecuted.

Sounds like a crime. Tell us who Durham convicted of these crimes.

Durham is long on accusations and blame in his report and yet when it comes to actually prosecuting (and REMEMBER, he's a special prosecutor, that was the whole point of his investigation, right?)... let's just say he comes up a little short.
mmm hmmm

Liars, cheaters, stealers. #Trump is vindicated in multiple ways incuding that the elections were not free and fair.

Disgusting that ANYONE of any party would defend this. Just remember, what goes around comes around.
