The historic U.S. emergency oil reserves release aimed at lowering domestic fuel prices led to more than 5 million barrels of oil being exported to Europe and Asia last month, despite record-high gas and diesel prices.
The news of the export to other nations was reported by Reuters a week ago and raised concern over the continued mismanagement of resources by the Biden Administration.
Oil exports from the U.S to reach an all-time high of 3.3m b/d in the current quarter as refinery disruptions and Strategic Petroleum Reserve releases increase available supplies, Rystad Energy says.

The export of crude and fuel hinders the impact of the moves by Biden, who claimed the release of the strategic reserves would lead to lower prices at the pump. U.S. crude inventories are now at the lowest since 2004. Refineries in the U.S. Gulf coast were at 97.9% utilization before the release of the reserves.

Biden continues to grasp at straws to deflect blame for the rising fuel costs. On Saturday, he called for gas stations to cut their prices, drawing criticism from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

About 1 million barrels are being released from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) daily. The release is expected to continue through October.
In June, The SPR fell to the lowest since 1986.
U.S. crude futures are above $111 per barrel, and gasoline and diesel prices are above $5 a gallon in most of the country.
According to U.S. Customs data, the fourth-largest U.S. oil refiner, Phillips 66, shipped roughly 470,000 barrels of sour crude from the Big Hill SPR storage site in Texas to Trieste, Italy. Trieste is home to a pipeline sending oil to central Europe refineries.
The same data showed that Atlantic Trading & Marketing, part of parent corporation TotalEnergies, exported two shipments of 560,000 barrels each.
According to Reuters, an industry source stated that cargoes of SPR crude were also headed to the Netherlands and to a Reliance (RELI.NS) refinery in India. A third cargo is headed to China, another source said.

“Crude and fuel prices would likely be higher if (the SPR releases) hadn’t happened, but at the same time, it isn’t really having the effect that was assumed,” Matt Smith, lead oil analyst at Kpler, told the New York Times.
Gas prices are still at record highs under Joe Biden.

You can’t fix stupid

It’s being reported on all news networks that actually gather and report news

YES China is receiving the oil from the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve

If there is a person on earth who can defend that insanity please let me hear that reasoning as I personally would love to hear how that can be explained

My friends on low places think Biden is trying to damage the US military and it’s ability to fight so it can invade Taiwan

What other reason can it be?

Yikes. You rubes are so easily swayed by Tucker Carlson, it is hilarious to watch. (pipeline! we were energy independent under trump!)

1. Biden is not "selling" oil to anyone. The White House is not an oil commodities trading house. He is releasing it to American companies and they are determining what to do with it.

2. Not all crude oil is the same. Some can be refined for US vehicle consumption, some can't.

3. The US does not always have the capacity to refine all of the oil that we need. We do not have the technology to refine all of the oil that we use.

4. Oil is a GLOBAL commodity. The price here affects the price elsewhere and vice versa.

5. These companies sold oil to china, they did not give it to them.

6. China is not our enemy. They are our rival. Keep in mind that all those MAGA hats and Lets go Brandon t-shirts that you buy were likely manufactured in china.

7. I guess you could argue that Biden could step in and start telling these companies how to run their businesses. But then you would be getting awfully close to that other dipshit buzzword you throw around all of the time... communism!

I would not say he is intentionally trying to destroy the country, but I certainly don’t see the good in doing this
I certainly don't want to come across as argumentative, but how can anyone see it as anything but intentional....heck, Shaq could even hit a free throw every now and then.

Point being, if someone was just incompetent, they would eventually win by accident. Not this guy.

EVERY SINGLE decision he has made has been wrong, and made this country weaker.

I’m not totally against your point. I think the incompetence is the decisions that are being made he thinks are good for the country, when in reality they are not. So while it’s not his intent, it is what is happening

The thing that bothers me is, I don't even think he is the one making the decisions. Every thing that happens will ultimately fall on his lap, but I don't think he is pulling the levers.

Somewhere in GA Jimmy Carter is thanking GOD that this moron was elected because he is not the worst anymore.

BS!! You cannot pull from strategic petroleum reserves and then have any group ship it overseas. This is on the inept Biden administration. They should have a plan and do not have one and that's a fact.

were you equally as outraged when trump did the exact same thing in 2018? Another reason to impeach trump?

The department took responsibility for cleaning the shipment to PetroChina with an additive after it determined in May of last year that levels of H2S were too high, according to the department official. The department disputes tests showing levels were too high in the other two cargoes, the official said.

yes you can. we've done it numerous times since its inception in the 70s. in fact, since 2015 we've done it about 7 times for a total of about 130 million barrels.

Saying China isn’t our enemy is all you need to know about this guy. The level of ignorance necessary to believe that is mind blowing but such is our country.

you know what, you are right. So trump took our oil reserves and sold them to our enemy, China. What are your thoughts on that?

Was gas in this country $5 a gallon then? Maybe we were exporting because we were making more than we could use in this country.

1. We should NEVER be in this spot in the first place.

2. Why should the USofA ever need help from any other country.

3. Why are we in that position? We should never need help from any one to do any damn thing.

4. Amazing how libs start to learn about capitalism when it seems to back up their dumb a$$ points.

5. OK

6. China is definitely our enemy. I guess you believe the Wuhan Virus/the Kung flu/China virus came from fvcking Hawaii.

7. Biden is lucky to take one step after the next.

It’s actually much more difficult that what you probably think it is, maybe you should take it and inform us. It’s the MoCA I believe
If this melted circus peanut can do it, I'm pretty sure Biden can as well

It’s actually much more difficult that what you probably think it is, maybe you should take it and inform us. It’s the MoCA I believe
President Donald Trump has boasted in several recent television appearances about his performance on a screening test intended to assess mild cognitive impairment or early dementia.

It’s unclear if Trump, 74, has taken the test again, but in 2018 he was given the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) under Dr. Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician, and at the time had scored a perfect 30 out of 30.

The MoCA test was created by Canadian neurologist Dr. Ziad Nasreddine. The test is 30 questions and designed to take 10 minutes.

Questions include drawing a clock, copying a picture of a cube and identifying pictures of animals.
