Fact is, opportunity is abundant. For all races. The accelerating self-victimization is harmful to the country. And to minorities.

I know Tim Scott casually and have not spoken to him in a while but him does not think racism is the # 1 problem in the country or even a top 5 or maybe in the top 10.
I am doing a lot of working in a private and public volunteer capacity regarding making communities and I can share what I am hearing in private intimate conversations with many people that they are OK with me sharing the gist but prefer to remain off the hate mongering left wing Democratic woke crowd.
Let's set the stage first as to demographics due to race. The US has a huge cross section of mixed race people but most identify with one of three major of Black 13.6% , Latin 19%, Oriental 6% and white 60%.
My conversations mostly cover blacks and white but some Latino. What I hear is interesting and I think does not really match well with the left speaking points. I am going to cut out all the fluff and hit the high points of what I hear.
First the number 1 problem in America is education with literacy being in a shambles. The answer is yes Americans in vast numbers are ignorant illiterate sheep being led by Shepards with agendas to enrich and empower themselves at the expense of the masses.
Second problem is parents are checking out on raising their children. This checkout contributes to problem 1 .
Third problem is there are forces at work to destroy equality of opportunity and meritocracy. The next issue is America was founded on opportunity and equality even when it was at it's worse. Yes, there were problems from the start but the present left wants to use equity as an equalizer at the end of the day which is nothing more than socialism and communism.
Fourth White advantage and white supremacy are scare tatics and myths as to the threat posed to America and success of people as a whole. If one gets an education and avoids children before marriage the education and independence virtually assure that person of success.
Fifth the mantra of Systemic Racism is another total myth. Racism exists but it is NOT systemic. This attempts at shaming white, Latino and Oriental is a disgusting low ball tactic. Tim Scott spoke to that this week on the View. How dare Joy Behar say that she knows more about being a black man in America than black men like Tim Scott and Ben Carson and the other black folks she belittled. Her conduct was disgusting and yes here is where racism pandering is evident and over the to.
Just threw out some of the thoughts I am hearing. For disclosure I am a 71 year old Clemson graduate modestly successful white male highly educated and gave my family the same advantages my parents gave me.
I am supporting Tim Scott in his Don Quixote Quest and the Mission of St. Jude as it seems hopeless but he has the right demeanor and values I share.
If you cypher the above we all start at the same starting line, but many choose not to do the hard work of being in the race at the end. That's why equity is so big a word on people's lips.
Fail through life while others work hard and do the right things. Then reward the losers to maintain political power and wealth through taxation.
That is why wehave this huge divide in America. At this moment around 50% are on the government dole and are not paying taxes.
And if you bring this up the left will want to cancel me, but the right will agree with me.
