You would always rather have multiple choice questions, but if we are doing fill in the blank on this one, I'll go with the constitution.

Who’s going to enforce it?
The better question would be who would support it? Under what scenario can you possibly see this happening. Will he try to hold another election? Is he just going to refuse to leave after his term and lock the front door of the Whitehouse? How does it paly out?
To answer your question. that would depend on the circumstances under which it needed to be enforced. Worst case scenario, it would be the military. To be honest, I'm not really sure what agency/group would be tasked first to try and deal with it.
HOWEVER, it's never going to come to that. Is trump smart enough to have dems running around with their hair on fire every time he posts something outrageous just so he can try and get done what he actually IS trying to do with less scrutiny? Personally, I'm happy for dems are so gullible. It's fascinating and hilarious at the same time.

The constitution does not prevent Trump from serving a third term.

It prevents him from being elected to a third term.

And yes it’s possible to serve without being elected

The party that spent the last four years ranting about saving democracy, ladies and gentlemen. Good fvcking lord.

I just want you to know that this is a bs argument cooked up by Trump’s hack lawyers. The amendment has *always* been interpreted to mean that someone cannot serve more than two terms as president

Historical precedent?

So the 22nd Amendment was passed after FDR served 4 terms.

Here is the text of the amendment. People can read for themselves. It says what it says.

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."

so you actually want this to happen and think it's a good idea and good precedent to set? Who the hell could possibly defend this?

No.

I will wait and see in 4 years.

If democrats don’t hold an election and push Kamala on the people again I would certainly vote Trump in that situation.

I will wait and see what’s going on in 2028 to make my choice.

He is going to have a hard time running when half his cabinet is on trial for Russian Collusion. It's coming, don't be surprised when it happens.
Sure, sure - Durham investigated it for two years so we know what the outcome will be - discovery will be fun and Bondi/Trump will end up with egg on their face . Let's get it trending! #Obama2028

Embarrassing
Not holding an election and then forcing Kamala retard Harris on your constituents and then acting like it's no big deal ..... that's embarrassing.

I would proudly vote for a 3rd Trump term over Kamala Harris. She was that bad.

Democrats need to worry about fielding a candidate rather than follow every ball that Trump tosses.

I'm pretty sure that was your exact same response when i made a thread title called "If you come for the King, you best not miss".

This is what happens when you miss.

Somehow you've managed to type shit thats even more unamerican and embarrassing than before. Bravo.

Hope history judges your take as harshly as it deserves.

Actually it wasn't you. It was someone else, I just looked. Apologies.

All I have done is post the 22nd amendment of the constitution and said I would wait until 2028 to make the choice for my vote. What do you have a problem with?

I don't know who i will vote for. I will consider voting for a democrat if they put up a good enough candidate. But they don't have a good track record of doing that.

If they put up a shit candidate I will vote for the opponent, even if it's Donald Trump.

Exactamundo.
Winner winner chicken dinner and here’s how: He runs as VP. As soon as his running mate is sworn in he resigns and Trump steps up to the podium to be sworn in. Easy peasy. The epic melt down would be SO SWEET!

Is the goal just to watch the "epic melt down"?

Is the goal to explicitly subvert the will of the founders because you like the guy?

Sweet? Dude… This would create an ongoing constitutional issue and erase generations of good faith 2 term limitations, as our very 1st president intended.

There is no issue. The amendment says what it says.

If Democrats don't like it, then they should run a better candidate.
