Trump Administration Updates

PANIC IN DC ⚡️

This is the best rundown I’ve heard yet, and it comes from President Trump’s Counselor, @AlinaHabba.

“Why are they getting upset? Because we’re taking money out of their pockets…

If you make x amount of money and you’re worth $68 million dollars, we’re gonna look at why that is…

There is a panic in DC at this moment, where I now live, and it is very simple. We are cutting them off from their funding. And that means politicians… and that’s where the panic is coming from. It’s pretty basic…

Nancy made how much money? And we’re gonna go down the line of looking at ALL these people….

So they are panicking. And Elon may be triggering just a little bit of insecurity, which is that they are worried about us looking at exactly what they’ve done and exactly how much they’ve made. And that is now stopping. And it’s a panic.”

The International Criminal Court has a warrant out for Putin's arrest after he's slaughtered hundreds of thousands and destroyed Ukraine's infrastructure and we're inviting him to come to our country with no consequence? And now they're having summits between themselves only without Zelensky at the table? Why does this monster get a free pass without giving up anything?

"A new poll shows President Donald Trump’s much-vaunted success with younger voters seems to have stalled, as his approval rating among that demographic continues to fall.

Just 39 percent of adults under 30-years-old who responded to the latest Economist/YouGov poll reported a favorable opinion of Trump. That number stood at 50 percent just two weeks ago. Adults in the 30- to 44-years-old bracket who view him favorably also dropped from 45 percent to 42 percent.

Overall, 46 percent of respondents approve of Trump’s second presidency, according to this week’s poll, a drop of three percent compared to late last month. Similarly, just 46 percent of respondents view him favorably personally, a drop from last month’s 50 percent.

The increasing scepticism among young Americans comes after Trump won big with youth voters in his race against former Vice President Kamala Harris."

"In a survey taken between February 9-11 polling U.S. citizens, Trump had a 46 percent approval rating compared to a 48 percent disapproval rating. This is the first time since Trump's inauguration that his disproval percentage was higher than his approval.

Looks like DOGE is planning to investigate the finances of members of Congress to figure out how they amassed SO MUCH wealth on their government salaries.

Hmmm...

So do y'all remember the HUGE push the Democrats had to get Trump's taxes? Where the Supreme Court ruled in 2021that New York Prosecutors were allowed access them and again in 2022 that Congress could also have access but nothing was found?

Y'all remember that?

Who wants to bet Democrats fell for a classic Trump move and will now have to surrender their financial information during the investigations?😎

You have to feel for people close to retirement and a planned sale of their home. I remember 2008 when so many people in the DC area became upside-down on their homes. People across the street from where we lived the guy had to take a job after he had already "retired" becuse they couldn't afford to sell and move back to Buffalo where they were from.

A lot of us were affected by those Obama real estate years.

The Founders created a unitary executive branch in which “the executive power shall be vested in a President of the United States.” (Vesting Clause). All executive power is vested in the one man elected by the whole nation. No unelected bureaucrat has any “independent” authority.

President Trump can fire anybody in the executive branch other than the VP.

Trump and Vance are the only two elected.

🇺🇸 IRS FACING MASSIVE LAYOFFS—15,000 EMPLOYEES EXPECTED TO BE CUT NEXT WEEK

The IRS is preparing to fire up to 15,000 employees as early as next week, according to ABC News.

This comes as unemployment in D.C. has surged 36% following DOGE-related disruptions.

The timing is critical, with tax season just a month away and no federal buyout plan in place for IRS workers—though one is expected in April.

Meanwhile, Trump’s Commerce Secretary nominee Howard Lutnick has floated the idea of abolishing the IRS entirely.

The shake-up could be just beginning.

The IRS is cutting 15,000 probationary employees next week as part of Trump’s deferred resignation buyout program, targeting hires from the last two years. This bold move slashes Biden-era bloat while prioritizing tax season efficiency—no buyouts allowed until April 15. Meanwhile, 14 states sued Elon Musk’s DOGE team over access to agency data, claiming constitutional overreach. The real issue? Bloated federal agencies wasting taxpayer dollars. Trump’s restructuring is long overdue. Cut the dead weight, secure American tax dollars, and let the IRS focus on real enforcement—not political pet projects.

Here is a problem I may have with this. All these people in these agencies getting fired are "probationary employees". That should mean they've been on the job for less than a year. Just a normal (maybe) working person who thought they were bettering their families lives by taking a gov't job.

Point being, THE ROT IS AT THE TOP. THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT NEED TO BE FIRED, OR IMHO PUT IN PRISON.

What are they being put in prison for?

If you are seriously asking that question then it amazes me you are able to breathe on your own.

It hasn't been 30 days in office, and billions upon billions of dollars of wasted funds have been found and stopped. I guess you have so much money you'll just let someone/the gov't waste it for you.

Do you agree that someone getting "kick backs" from federal tax payer money should be in prison? Anyone stealing tax payer money should be in prison, and the surface hasn't even been scratched yet.

Nice to start out with an insult. Always appreciate that opening response.

Most of what has been pointed out is in a public budget. Congress voted on it.

Definitely agree that if someone was getting illegal kickbacks they should be charged. But you’d have to prove they were illegal, and I honestly don’t know where the line between “getting paid for being on a board of a charity you lobby to get funds given to in the budget” and “getting an illegal kickback”. The first can ABSOLUTELY be enough to vote people out. But something being sketchy and cringe is different from illegal. I also stated a few days ago I would love for there to be a law that members of congress can’t benefit financially from something Congress votes for while in office. Would go for both charities, and defense contractors. (And investments have to be in a blind trust).

I aim to please. That wasn't even an insult though. It was an observation.

You seem to be giving people the benefit of the doubt, which I could go along with. However, my view is, these folks know exactly what they are doing. They are ripping us off and laughing in our face while we pay for their lavish lifestyle. Are you good with that?

I don’t aim to give them any benefit. If anything was illegal, charge them. If it wasn’t, vote them out. All I was saying is doing something unethical doesn’t mean illegal. Just like taking a 2bil investment from a country you were in charge of dealing with may be unethical but doesn’t mean it was illegal.

So you're good with unethical people stealing our money if it wasn't illegal? I don't think you feel that way.

Voting people out doesn't always work. Just look at Lindsey in SC and Cornyn in TX. 2 of the biggest POS in our country yet they keep getting voted in.
