Im saying that account, isn't run by a former 3 star general, but run by Russian intelligence, with the goal of sowing their propaganda. That the only reason you and others even think Russia has any right to do what its been doing, is due to channels like this one.
Russia is involved in a disinformation campaign, and with X selling checkmarks, rather than verifying peoples identity, the situation is ripe for fooling folks.
And of course I understand US does similar/same. It doesn't change the fact that you are actively choosing to buy into the narrative of the Kremlin.

A cease fire will cede land, which ukraine doesn't want to do. The idea that soverign countries shouldn't defend their boarders is pretty ridiculous. The idea that the people in the boarderlands 'identify as russian' is a made up propaganda point. If you wanna be Russian, walk the 30 miles to become one.

Ukraine has every right to fight Russia, but they have to be realistic about what they can actually achieve. The American defense industry may benefit from dumping tens billions of dollars into this mess; the Ukrainian people sure as hell don’t.
You could argue that the people of Donetsk and Luhansk seceded and went to war to do just that, and Kyiv didn’t acquiesce. People in Crimea weren’t speaking Ukrainian either.
