I don't disagree about NATO members limping along. Also, I think USA likes and profits greatly from being the big dog in the yard. Our international trade, commerce and having the dollar the world's currency are fully justified given the military presence and given the 'implication'.
Tax loopholes need to be closed. I do not have a buddy in the oval office, wish I did.
JPow ? The Fed? Oh please I don't agree with the premise of that org. Its BS privatization of profit to socialize the losses. Its a sham. Capatilists are rightly horrifed, maybe, by a private bank OWNING the dollar.
Mostly I think we agree on wasteful spending, what happens in these discussions though is priorities get debated. I get to see highly educated workers trying to save kids get absolute peanuts and get more cases than the government policies even allow. People working 60 hour weeks earning 45k salaries because governments want to curb spending and be 'small'. Well the problems with the USA population are getting worse and bigger. But no one on the republican side will even utter a word on the issues. Instead we all rage out about a perfectly fine movie about saving kids in another country. The kids that need saving are right next door and don't involve an international cabal of satanists. Its mom and dad hooked on drugs, beating their kids. Wheres the outrage and the funding there? This is what I mean when I say social media has melted peoples brains. They are out there chasing outlier rage topics while real issues grow.
My worldview is more in line that we should be spending our money to help each other. Instead we seem stuck in a quagmire of defunding projects that need more while we ignore the gloat of military, the corruption of lobbying in DC and the corporate take over of the US government.
