We will have failed miserably as a country.
I think most of America now sees thru MSM, and I include both sides of the isle.
Hopefully the administration will see it is a bit of a different playing field now with Americans. They just want to see shit done.

- Replace 50,000 govt employees by stripping them of their civil service protections and replacing them with loyal butt kissers
- Destroy healthcare
- Destroy media that disagrees with him
- Put immigrants in concentration camps
- A new Muslim travel ban
- End funding to Ukraine
- Exit the Paris Climate Accord
- Terminate the Dept of Education
- Has vowed to fight for a "patriotic education" i.e., ignore the history and rights of anyone different than him
- Pledged a federal takeover of Washington DC and possibly move many departments to red states
- Tariffs on all imports
- Ugly etc...

Biden will concede the election so we won't have a January 6th type event and will have a smooth transition of power.
Some Dems will bitch and moan about the election, but nothing huge like with Trump in 2020.
Libs will cry piss and moan.
Republicans will brag about what they are going to do and talk of the debt will completely vanish, until the Dems start to bring it up.
Trump will brag and strut around and talk about what he's going to do. THEN we'll have 4 years of obstructionist politics on both sides (just like the past 8 years) where nothing ACTUALLY gets done.
But like I said, nothing will change for me.
Off topic, but those quotes show both that he's woefully ignorant on these subjects, and how uneducated his followers are, which he counts on. Can't "close" border for number of reasons including impact to labor economy. And drill, drill, drill is pointless and unnecessary except in right economic conditions. But it sounds good, huh? And that's all that matters.

We will be better off bc at the end of the day, less dem/progressive policies and spending will be possible and any court appointments will be much better than what joe would put in place.
We have two terrible candidates. The fact of the matter is still that one will result in more spending, more progressive ideological crap, more open borders continuing to fuel massive drug overdoses and deaths of adults and children in record numbers, etc.
No matter the names on the ballot the choice is the same as it always is. People have to choose whether they want more or less spending, more or less govt control, more or less govt bloat and expense, more or less progressive judiciary, more or less liberal policy. One candidate helps further these and the other does not. You are going to get one result or the other based on who wins the election.

If the answer is yes, do you think Biden should prevent him from taking office?
If the answer is yes but you dont think he should be prevented from taking office ..... is Trump really a threat?

THIS. Trump makes shit up all the time. You simply can't believe what he says. His followers know that and so when Trump says something stupid I'm going to be a dictator on day one, they just ignore it.
I'd like to be able to believe the President when he says he's going to do something. But that's just not Trump. So he says stuff and everyone with a mind knows it's just Trump being Trump. IMHO, that's fine for a shady businessman, not so much for a President.
Trump isn't going to balance the budget. He's not going to finish building the wall. He certainly isn't going to drain the swamp. He's not going to pull us out of NATO. He can't do ANY of those things w/o help in congress. Which he won't have.
As for our energy policy, I'm actually with Biden on this one. FYI, he has NEVER been a green new deal person. He believes strongly that we do need to pursue Earth friendly sustainable energy, but he doesn't believe we are in a place where we can do that right now. So we are drilling... fine. I have no problems with the US subsidizing clean energy... God knows we've been doing it for the oil companies for decades.
But transitioning from traditional energy to clean is going to be a hard row to hoe. We've always made the energy we need on demand and stored the fuel to make that energy. Now we need to transition to making the energy ahead of time and storing the energy itself. That's a fundamental shift at the very basic level of how we do things. It's going to be really hard and we will have to sink a ton of money into it.
Gas stations and the electrical grid didn't just APPEAR across the country nor did the refinement facilities to make said gas. That was decades long projects. It's going to be the same thing here.
