Not a bad post, but you are incorrect on the spending part. Trump can run up the debt with the best of them. Republicans who are talking about spending now won't say a word when Trump is spending, just like they didn't when he was in office before. That's both sides of the aisle.

Yes, I do think Trump is a threat to democracy but no I don't think it's Biden's job to prevent that because that wouldn't be democracy. However, he should be held accountable for his crimes but that would fall under the DOJ. If he is convicted for his dozens of felonies that would then take care of the threat.
Remember, we already tried the political solution twice but Republicans pussied out from doing the right thing.
I seriously cannot pay attention to all the lies and bs that get blamed on 'libs' and biden every day. The fact that magas are saying Ukraine funding is a bad idea, is just nuts to me. I cannot think of a more sound military decision in the last 50 years. I have a hard time believing you ... either
1) You think that Biden should refuse to give up office because the very existence of our country is at stake or
2) You really dont think Trump is a "threat to our democracy", and that statement is just a over exaggeration.
The thing that's scary to me is every single issue that our country faces is framed by how it relates to Trump. In the past, all republicans would have been on board with funding the Ukraine war but because Zelensky wouldn't go along with Trump's bribe, he must be hated and called a little nazi. In the past(see Reagan) all republicans would have seen Russia as a mortal enemy but since Trump likes Putin, they will shill for him. If Taylor Swift speaks her mind about Trump, she is hated. Everything revolves around him, not our country, even though he'll probably be dead in 10 years.
I don't understand what's so hard about this:
- I believe Trump is a threat to our democracy and I hope the legal system takes him down
- But BECAUSE I believe in DEMOCRACY, I would never accept Biden refusing to step down if he lost.
- My statement is not an over-exaggeration but again BECAUSE I believe in DEMOCRACY, I would have no choice but to accept it if Trump won the election.

I think he is going to to do somethings that Im going to dislike and youre going to hate, but when 2028 rolls around, there will be another election. I do not believe that he is going to appoint himself dictator for life, nor will there be Ya'll Queda and MAGAbollah death squads in the streets hunting for political opponents.

See I actually disagree with you. I didn't not want Donald Trump as a president. I honestly feel like once he starts debating, or actually doing speeches that are viewed by more of the electorate it will remind people why they don't like him, or want more of him on the national stage.

I don't think I am wrong about spending. Are you telling me you think Joe will spend less $$ than Trump? Spending was absolutely the worst part of his term as potus. However, he will spend less $$$$ than a democrat. I will take less over more every time. I also think he will not expand the size of govt as opposed to the continuous expansion of govt - which just builds in future baseline costs in perpetuity. We have been adding about 50,000 govt jobs per month under Joe. This is in part an attempt to try and prop up the labor market and the economy in addition to simply wanting ever expanding govt in general for dems.
Also, a big part of his spending was pandemic related handouts- not that I agree with many of them. That won't be an issue this time.
Trump is last on my list of candidates, but he is going to be the pub candidate. Pretty much anyone with an R by their name is going to spend less than anyone with a D by their name.

Has he been convicted in a court within the United States of America? Didn't think so. As for the documents, nobody knows what's even in the documents hardly at all with exception of a few leaks.
Where did he say he was going overturn the election? He asked Pence to do what he was actually constitutionally permitted to do - proof of this in the fact that they passed a rule after the election to prevent that from happening. And if you think J6 was an overthrow of the government then you obviously have not seen the full footage of so called "rioters" in the capitol. Don't get me wrong they shouldn't have been in there,, but they should be slapped with a trespassing charge not years in prison like a murderer, that's baffling to me.
