Just remember that if you ever have any problems with any other political candidate’s character. My experience is the people who say this about the former president never say it about anybody else. Comparing him to Jesus is really almost too absurd to respond to.
Forgiveness is very difficult. It's also very comforting and relieving when you do forgive. 99.99% chance that those that you hold grudges against doesn't impact them at all. That applies to everything and not just politics.
I’m not throwing shade at you bro! I haven’t posted my feelings about anything. Yesterday is actually the first time I have posted anything about the picture for that very reason…I did not want to comment out of anger or disgust. I’ve been very careful in my conversations off of TI about this stuff.
It’s easy to look at the Olympic picture and the Last Supper picture and see the obvious…unless you just refuse to see it. It seems that nothing shocks people anymore and it seems that nothing is off limits. It was obviously an attack on Christianity. They knew that it would cause an uproar and did not care.

I never said he was being persecuted like Jesus was . No man could ever suffer what Jesus died on the cross for. What I said was He was being persecuted like many other Christians are. Because of his faith. like many persecute Christians on this board. Donald Trump isn't a God he's a man who's made mistakes like any other man . Doesn't mean he hasn't giving his heart to God and asked forgiveness. No one knows his heart but God himself and it's no man's place to judge another man's faith or beliefs but Jesus Christ himself. Agree with this. And what is sad is if you are a believer, can you imagine the powerful Witness he would have to others if he came out and said "I was wrong 9 years, I do need forgiveness like we all do" and then he actually starting showing change in his life due to the Spirit? Maybe he'd still lose his cool occasionally as a sinner and say something dumb, but he could then again show the growth of sanctification and ask forgiveness and try to grow again. Wow God would seem so powerful! Even non-Trump fans who are convinced he is a narcissistic a**hole, would likely start to wonder if there's something to this God/Jesus thing if someone like Trump can change.
But instead, it feels like we have people saying "we have no idea what's in his heart". Which, while true, if there is change in his heart, but he's showing zero change publicly, you are essentially saying the Spirit is completely powerless, or completely uninterested in reaching millions.

Jesus is still persecuted till this day by many,just like Christians are . Trump is persecuted for his beliefs like Jesus was!! When no one knows his heart. I actually wouldn't call that persecution. It's someone being an asshole, but they aren't denying you any legal rights, they aren't physically harming you etc.
