I’m usually thinking we’re always hated, but this year it’s bad… We could definitely win the league and possibly should win the league.

Duke has way more talent, but Scheyer has been a disappointing coach. UNC has the worst bigs I’ve seen them have, ever. Pitt and Louisville look solid. Wake is overrated, again.

After that, the league looks dire. Miami looks worse than last year, if possible. UVA is dead after Bennett. NCST lost basically everyone. FSU lost a bunch of their best players.

VT and Mike Young can’t hold onto a roster. BC is well coached, but lacks talent and consistency. Syracuse should never have hired Adrian Autry. GT was raided by the portal.

The new schools were bottom in the PaC-12. I guess, SMU could be adequate.

Has anybody seen him out trying to get ahead of the curve on promoting Miami and even SMU (with a loss) to get in the CFP. He should be on every radio show and TV show he could get in stating Miami is one of the top 12 and SMU should not be penalized with a loss... haven't seen any comments anywhere...

If I had to choose between beating Carolina and plating in championship game, i would rather beat Carolina.

Nice jump after year one, but dang. This is on both Cade and Riley. With that said, how many times have we told Cade to do something but he does the opposite? At some point, he is who he is and time to move on.

I see a lot of people down on him and I admit it I get frustrated during games. But thinking back, how many times do we have dudes wide open and not see/hit him? Sure I don’t like certain calls here or there but that’s probably no matter who is calling the plays

I have seen some guys say we don’t stay aggressive with leads but they I think back to the missed slant at midfield that absolutely seals the game if Cade makes the layup.

The more I think about it the more I am coming to realize that as much as Cade has improved he still isn’t great when it matters the most.

He has one more year and if the jump to next year is a big as last year then we will have something of the roster stays intact

I feel like it would be a big step in a good direction to win Saturday and hopefully get a bye if we could crack the 3 or 4 seed.

If we could, we wouldn’t play until December 31st or January 1st. That would be after the first window closes. I don’t see any true contributors or 2 deep guys entering the portal being in the playoffs. I know there is a spring window, but it is usually more active in the winter, will also give those 2nd team guys a chance to compete for spring ball and will most likely keep them around if they like their chances for significant playing time in 2025.

Legitimately a very difficult choice to me. Curious to others answers.

I can't believe I am saying this but we miss Beaux Collins. Yes, a positive of not having him means we are playing Wesco and Moore. Collins never really lit it up either so his departure wasn't seen as a big loss, including by yours truly. However, I know think we could have used him this year, mainly due to his skillset.

We are really missing a bigger body wide receiver to play as an outside receiver who can also provide a threat downfield. Our offense is sorely lacking this and it is one of the biggest reasons for our struggles in November. He's a senior, so he has the maturity and experience that Wesco and Moore don't have when it comes to getting open against press man coverage. He also would have allowed us to be a bit more creative with Antonio Williams.

To me it is clear that the Defense has regressed in just about every measurable way since BV left. Some regression was expected but then you would have hoped that we would have rebounded by now. Offensively we have improved from last year pretty dramatically in points and yards. However, the negative yardage plays MUST get cleaned up. I think that is partially playcalling but also on Luke. He has done a decent job this year but we need to improve there next year. BOTH sides need to improve in the RZ.

Finally, the recent anecdotal evidence from the Uof game suggests that both sides played well enough at times to win. Both sides made asinine decisions that could be the cause of the loss and both sides blew it when they had a chance to seal the game. TOTAL TEAM LOSS on Saturday. That means (as technically it always does) this rests solely at Dabo's feet. Lack of using the portal may have cost us vs UGA but Saturday was about grit and neither side of the ball had it. Sellers did. I do think he is a great player but he isn't all world. What he does have is want to. He wanted to win more than anyone for us. And if Cade wants to win then he has to make more cerebral plays. Plays that don't show up in the stat column but lead to more points and less mistakes.

I think there is more immediate room for improvement offensively and the D side is hemorrhaging recruits. THAT is why Wes needs to go. Not solely because of the game Saturday. And the season as a whole is why Riley deserves more time still.

I do political and community and social advocacy in my retirement and was thinking on this regarding folks with minor sentence.

For people with non-violent crimes with good behavior we need in South Carolina to help put people back into the family and just living.

Don't get me wrong, the young man played well, for the most part. He was facing a heck of a defense & dealing with crappy play-calling! But the thing that drives me nuts is the SIMPLE pass!! We sit lower level (30 yd line) & a lot of what I'm saying u probably can't see on TV. But there were 2 slant passes specifically. Where the WR is open by a good 2-3 yds. And there was NO safety help either time! If Cade puts it REMOTELY in the vicinity, Wesco is still running! At least 1 was a house call. But he makes horrific throws!! 5 ft over his head. 3 ft behind where the WR has to go back into the defender! Sometimes he throws a missile Justin Jefferson couldn't handle!! It's unbelievable

Dabo seemed pretty pessimistic when asked about Tyler Brown and his potential impact this week. I thought it was strange that he seemingly hasn’t practiced at all since his early November tight rope surgery. Has anybody heard any news on his progress lately?
