OT...I did something yesterday and can't quite understand why. Have a question for you.

I turned around at the Casey Jones Bourbon Distillery and left without stopping. I did this because I told myself I didn't want to test not drinking in over a year and there wasn't a well digger"s chance in Hell I wasn't taste testing. I have told myself that I won't use the word quit....a word denoting finality. I have said to family and a few close friends that I reserve the right to drink when I feel it's time.

The truth be known...I have a feeling the good Lord gave me the will to walk away without any physical or medical repercussions one time. 🙄I listened🙄. I've quit haven't I?

An opportunity awaits

..in the next couple of years. Repeating what happened in 2003 2004 by lowering the bar for homebuyers with terrible credit. Those homes will be foreclosed in the next 2-3 years. You can be there to buy them. Read this article.

Undefeated Next Year. I'm a Sunshine Pumper, but let me try to sell you!

Number one, like others, the freshman defenders are amazing and better than advertised. Woods is as advertised, S Green is as good or better than advertised, Parker is gonna be on the field this year and a difference maker, Barnes didn't stand out to me on film in HS but he sure looked great yesterday! Lewis looked great too. My goodness what a haul!

Now to this season and why I think we are better than top 4 and maybe even natty good. Let's break down the positions.

QB Cade looked great yesterday. Still needs to work on his pocket presence and if he would just be disciplined enough to throw the ball away instead of dropping back 15 yards... I think he will grow and have a great year. I think Cade could end up right behind Drake Maye as All ACC 2nd Team. Vizzy looked good but our D's speed looked to be ahead of him.

RB Probably top group in the country, right? This is gonna be the key to our offense this year. Oline is good and running game should mask some skill position (WR) deficiencies. As long as both are healthy, this tandem should have 2,000 yards between them. Adams Jr. may need a few carries a game to check his temperature. He seems like a guy who can get hot.

WR I know a lot is made of this being pitiful but if we can get just a little healthy, Collins, Turner and Williams should be good enough to threaten the back end of most defenses. Randall and Noble Johnson development could be critical too. Maybe Brown and/or Hanafin will blow up. Hopefully a strong RB and TE share will ease the pain here.

TE I think Briningstool could be the first Clemson TE to get a look at the 1st round of NFL Draft in my lifetime. I can't remember a better prospect for us at this position and that includes Allen. He should get Dalton Kincaid type targets and have a huge year! We'll see. Josh Sapp sure looked good yesterday too and I think he leaves Clemson with a lot of nice moments. Ennis will get looks. Hopefully Dixon or Henry will be too good to redshirt as well.

OLine I think we will miss McFadden but he wasn't flawless at LT by any means. I think he has a nice future in NFL as a guard. Leigh and Miller should do nicely but Parks and Tate could slide out if need be. Those with Mayes at guard and Putnam solid at center gives us a lot of flexibility and depth. Sewell and Sadler are gonna be ready sooner than later as well. Go back and watch Owens at guard yesterday! He loses another 20 pounds and look out! He was throwing people around and feet are better than they should be at that size. Oline is good at least and elite at best this year. Talented, deep and young!

Now to Defense! Has easy potential to be best defense in America and that's not close to lip service.

DE The only question marks, on D, come here and maybe CB2. The crazy part is the DT position being so good should make any DE we put out shine. They can't be double teamed or we will live 5 yards in backfield with interior guys. XT's health and emergence is maybe most important piece to this team. He could get to 10 sacks just by staying on the field. Mascoll being on the field is a waist imo. He just doesn't have the burst the position deserves and would rather a Denhoff, Lawson, Patterson or one of the young cats like Parker get the nod, even if they don't know how to set a hard edge quite yet. Just my opinion. Think we will end up being okay here but if we had a KJ Henry here, I'd feel a heck of a lot better. Woods moving out here would sure change the dynamic as well!

DT Man we are Salty, Deep and Young! We know what we have in Davis and Ruke. WIlliams and Page would start for 98% of the country and they are not as good as Woods and Green, lol. Vic Burley coming in. Do you feel bad for Caden Story and Capehart yet? Good lord!

LB I can't imagine I would trade these 3 for any other group in CFB. Trotter is special, Carter is a 1st rounder waiting to happen, Woodazz is gonna kill some people this year. The great news is the backup group looked good yesterday. Dudley, McCloud and Anderson all looked the part yesterday and WHEN we add Sammy Brown, this group just keeps rolling.

DB Was it fun to watch this group yesterday? My gosh. Mukuba missing tackle of Mafah is more Mafah than Mukuba. Will be fun to see which will have the better NFL career between Mukuba and Carter. Mickens is gonna have a big year and has great ball skills. Venebles is still Venebles. Covil and Griffin are more than capable. Barnes looks so dang good. Didn't see that coming. Wouldn't trade our safety room with any in the country. Now to Wiggins. How he had progressed is incredible. Another 1st round talent, he will be lock down good. The battle for CB2 should be fierce. Pride, Greene, Lukus, Sherdian Jones, Shelton Lewis... and we still have 2 highly regarded freshman coming in. Talented, Deep and Young, again!

SP Teams I think we will be fine with Swanson at P. The kicker battle with Gunn and Boyd should be a fun one.

This team is ready to roll IMO. We will dominate the ACC for sure. I really don't think we will be underdogs in any game but maybe we lose one to the schedule. Regardless, we only lose one and we are in the playoffs. I think this team will be a really tough out and has a chance to win it all. We should be really stoked at the potential of this team. Now, did I sway anyone?

Soros-Funded MI SOS Jocelyn Benson’s Voter Rolls Contain “Over 48,000 NON-LEGAL Voter Registrations at Trailer Parks and Apartment Housing Addresses”

Accurate voter rolls should be a national security item in my opinion.

HUGE DISCOVERY! Soros-Funded MI SOS Jocelyn Benson’s Voter Rolls Contain “Over 48,000 NON-LEGAL voter registrations at Trailer Parks and Apartment Housing Addresses”

100 Percent Fed Up exclusive – Just as clean voter rolls are the heartbeat of election integrity, bloated and inaccurate rolls invite misconduct and abuse. Until now, voter roll information, required by law to be transparent, has been out of reach to most citizens and even to many election clerks. In response, a Michigan-based nonprofit organization has piloted a voter roll cleanup program. Check My Vote (CMV) features user-friendly software and brings publicly available information in the state’s voter rolls to users’ fingertips.

Phani Mantravadi, an information technology engineer, works at dual computer monitors as he perfects the user-friendly menu for Soles to the Rolls.
A few clicks of the mouse, and residents and election clerks alike can view their own voting histories and the registered voters in their area—at no charge. The secrecy of a person’s ballot is protected, of course, but whether the individual voted absentee or in person during past elections is public information.

Check My Vote co-founder Tim Vetter (right) and Dr. Frank discuss Michigan’s voter roll data anomalies during Frank’s visit to Westland, Michigan on June 28, 2022.

“User feedback is helping us put Michigan on the cutting edge of voter roll truth and accuracy,” said Tim Vetter, co-developer and co-founder of checkmyvote.org.

Over the past several months, Michigan Fair Elections has piloted its Soles to the Rolls program among its statewide network of volunteers. “The county task forces beta-tested checkmyvote.org and provided feedback,” Patrice Johnson, chair of MFE, said. “The result is greater transparency and improved ease of access to Michigan’s voter rolls. Now, we’re pleased to roll out the program statewide.”

Conservatives Are Looking For Ways To Boycott and Move Spending Away From Woke Corporations -- Here Is One Way To Do It

“Dirty voter rolls are a national security issue. Every citizen should be concerned,” said Vetter. “It’s a citizen’s right and duty to participate in a fair election process, and Soles to the Rolls is designed to encourage participation, regardless of a person’s technology skillset.”

Vetter, a manufacturing equipment engineer by trade, understands the critical value of timely and accurate information. “At work, all decisions are data-driven,” he said. “If my source data is not accurate, my company could waste millions of dollars per hour. It’s better to have no data than to have wrong data.”

When asked to describe the importance of accurate election data, Vetter replied, “We citizens have one tool for expressing our voice in this representative government of ours. We have our vote. Asking me the value of my vote is like asking me the value of my freedom.”
Vetter invited readers to go to the CMV website and take a look at the dashboard, designed to assist residents and clerks in every election jurisdiction across the state. “I encourage all Michigan citizens to become a part of MFE’s Soles to the Rolls effort. Use the newly developed digital tools for yourself and assist your local, hardworking clerk to clean Michigan’s Qualified Voter File (QVF) and keep it clean.”

“Anyone who opposes checks and balances on our elections might as well try to argue that football games should have no referees,” said Phani Mantravadi, co-founder of checkmyvote.org. “Human nature is what it is, so wherever power and money are involved, the temptation to cheat is too great for some. This is why the Founding Fathers of this nation enacted the U.S. Constitution.”

The same reasons gave rise to federal transparency laws and compelled state lawmakers to enact laws requiring equal numbers of Democrat and Republican election inspectors at the polls. “Questioning minds help keep everyone honest,” Mantravadi, an information technology engineer, said with a wry grin. He and his wife, Aldona, have three children and are residents of Livingston County.
“With the support of Michigan patriots and our elected clerks, we hope to shut down illegal absentee ballot stuffing operations.” Vetter was referring to “2000 Mules,” a documentary film that showed video security footage of ballot harvesters, called mules, stuffing quantities of ballots into absentee drop boxes nationwide and allegedly rigging the 2020 Presidential Election.
“Every stuffed ballot is required by law to be paired with a voter registration in the Qualified Voter File. This further highlights the importance of clean and accurate voter rolls.” Vetter’s characteristic smile topped his white goatee. “We have three girls by marriage, with two adopted into our family with eight grandchildren, all under the age of five. They are the reason I’m working to defend the integrity of every person’s ballot.” He and his wife, Ann, of 33 years, reside in Oakland County.

To achieve the goal of accurate voter rolls, Vetter says, “CMV [Check Mv Vote] provides the necessary tools for Michiganians, Soles to the Rolls volunteers, and election clerks to support each other in identifying and removing irregularities from our voter rolls.”

In the unlikely event that a registrant is mistakenly removed from the rolls, a Michigan resident need only re-register at their local clerk’s office as late as on Election Day.
To take a deep dive into questionable and inaccurate voter registrations, checkmyvote.org users simply click a few menu items.

Significant need

By Michigan Compiled Law (MCL 168.495 (b)), a voter registration must meet 14 requirements, one of which includes having a complete address. If living in an apartment or mobile home park, registrants must include their apartment or lot number so the U.S. Postal Service is able to deliver an absentee ballot if requested.

“Statewide, the QVF contains over 48,000 voter registrations at trailer park and apartment housing addresses that are missing apartment or lot numbers.” Vetter tapped a few keys, and examples populated his computer screen. “This disqualifies these registrations. They are non-legal and need to be completed or eliminated.”

“In the past four years–since Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson enrolled the state in the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) in 2019–non-legal addresses have spiraled out of control,” Vetter noted. “The SOS Benson may claim otherwise, but the facts and data prove our QVF data quality has gotten significantly worse since that time.”
“Inaccurate and non-standard apartment or lot numbers are a serious issue,” Mantravadi added, and he cautioned those who might feel tempted toward wrongdoing. “Volunteers across the state are tracking and monitoring every address in Michigan. We’re watching for spikes and other anomalies.”
Mantravadi encouraged readers to set their video resolution to view at the best quality and watch this short video below. “You’ll see how easy it is to resolve these unlawful and non-standard address problems.” He questioned why Benson would waste taxpayer money on the state’s membership in ERIC. “She could simply provide clerks with the basic tools they need to clean the QVF.” Since she has failed to do her job, he said hardworking volunteers are filling the gap.

A snapshot of QVF issues

Landmark-740x273.jpeg

According to the April 2023 QVF, 592 registered voters are located at the Landmark, a high-rise apartment building at 1300 S. University Avenue in Ann Arbor, Mich. Here the 173 apartments average 3.4 registrations each. Of the 126 legal registrants at this location, 113 (90%) voted. Of the 113 votes, nine had no apartment number. Some voter registrations from this location include non-existent apartment numbers. One registrant is listed as residing in an apartment on the 19th floor of this 14-story building.
“This is the sort of discrepancy our volunteers are working with election clerks to identify and resolve,” Johnson said.
Michigan Election Law places complete responsibility with the county, city, and township clerks to verify the accuracy of the names and addresses of registered electors in the QVF. (MCL 168.509r (1))
“When we factor in the myriad ways new voter registrations and voter registration modifications are auto-generated into the QVF, we begin to grasp how data integrity, quality control, and verifications become a monumental challenge for the clerk’s office,” Vetter said.

Mission of Soles to the Rolls

By law, the local jurisdiction clerk has the authority to use any “other means the clerk considers appropriate” to accomplish the cleanup of our voter rolls (Section 168.509dd). By ensuring the integrity of the voter rolls, volunteers can confirm that active registrations and ballots belong to actual living persons at the addresses of record. This is the goal behind MFE’s Soles to the Rolls program and its new Check My Vote.org (CMV) website.
“Our goal is simple. We are helping to clean Michigan’s QVF and keep it clean,” MFE Chair Johnson emphasized. “We have a right to fair elections and a civic duty to participate in the process.”
The new CMV website includes a “Clerk’s Dashboard” to assist in cleaning the QVF by monitoring existing and new registrations and flagging anomalies. Access to the dashboard is limited to clerks, law enforcement, and approved election integrity volunteers.
“We are hoping to approve more volunteers, and we need everyone’s help,” Vetter said.

Functionality of the CMV website

2023-04-14-07.10.01.jpeg
Every voter in Michigan now has the ability to audit their address and/or voting history using the CMV website. Any individual can now audit any address in Michigan. CMV’s QVF audit data is updated every month using statewide data from the Secretary of State. Data geeks will want to check CMV’s “Data Analysis” menu. Here they will find Excel workbooks updated every month with helpful videos describing the data analysis.

After becoming an active volunteer in the Soles to the Roles program, those who become digital canvassers benefit from free access to monthly public QVF data downloads for all counties in Michigan. In the past month dedicated digital canvassers from Soles to the Rolls have compiled over 130,000 standard apartment and lot locations. Click here to view a big-picture video of this effort.

Stronger together

Citizen participation in Soles to the Rolls will bring communities and clerks together to enhance the accuracy of the state’s voter rolls and restore integrity to Michigan’s elections.
MFE invites citizens and clerks to join its dedicated team of volunteers.

Enjoyed the Spring Game

I thought the Spring Game was very enjoyable. Clemson football on a Saturday with a new offense and new players to watch. The defense was awesome - PWoo my goodness!!! The offense actually threw the ball over the middle some. Dabo was fun to listen to talk thru the game. I enjoyed seeing the former players. I enjoyed Eason/Spiller. Looked like a beautiful day in the Valley.

Everybody knows you are not going to see the full offense and the defense has been going against it for 15 days (remember those same plays they have been running over and over and over). The offense will be better than they showed today.

Started to come on here to read some posts, but everything looks negative. Think I will just relax and enjoy the rest of the day having just watched my Tigers play some football. I feel happy.

Flame away with some negative posts if you want. It sucks for you if you are going to be miserable after watching that.

I will check back late in the week when everyone has settled down a bit.

Bones

Tommy West had better recruited receiving talent

Give me Mal Lawyer, Brian Wofford, Joe Don Reames, Tony Horne, Antwan Wyatt, and Kenya Crooks over all those they rolled out today minus Williams. Hell, give me all those guys over anyone on campus minus Williams.

That was hard to watch. Aside from the Tight Ends, Antonio Williams is the only division 1 receiver. We have the worst talent at that position in the conference by a pretty wide margin.

The defense is salty though

Drama at BJU

Does anyone know what's going on there? I have had some interactions over the years with BJU in my career, and certainly was pretty upset by the fake Masters they gave to the new Sec of Ed.

Masters weekend sees highest ratings in 5 years

Masters weekend sees highest ratings in 5 years

By: Jay Busbee - Yahoo! Sports

Turns out that all golf needs is a foundation-cracking civil war and a compelling duel between two major champions. The Masters recorded its highest weekend ratings in five years on CBS, averaging 12.1 million viewers, the highest since Patrick Reed's victory in 2018.

There is, as always, context that must be applied. Tiger Woods' victory in 2019 came during a rain-rescheduled event that took place Sunday morning. Dustin Johnson's victory in 2020 took place in November, out of season thanks to the pandemic. Hideki Matsuyama's 2021 win and Scottie Scheffler's 2022 win were largely blowouts.

Even so, a 19% year-over-year increase is significant. Viewership on Sunday peaked with more than 15 million viewers in Jon Rahm's final holes.

The weather played havoc with ratings during the tournament; ESPN's Masters coverage Friday was down slightly (3.1 million viewers from 3.5 million) because it had only 90 minutes of live coverage, down from almost five hours the year before.

Republicans are Destroying Themselves

Democrats should just sit back and watch them set themselves on fire at this point. Every time they do or say anything it just makes them look worse to the country at large.

We just need to not even rock the boat anymore. They'll voluntarily jump out of we give them enough time and space.

Thanks for the country, dumbasses. Your abortion stance is doing all our work for us.
