Not sure why that has to be made available via FOIA.
I tend to agree... FOIA is generally a good thing and is important for government accountability, but why this has to be released is beyond me. I guess you can't pick and choose on the FOIA, so I actually blame the reporters for this one. Anyone with an ounce of class would say this is not newsworthy and shouldn't be publicized.
I purposely did not listen to it. There are some things I don’t need burned in my brain.
I am definitely not listening to that.
The latest “insider” story:
Paul was supposedly high on Coke and gets into a huge argument about his dogs—how much trouble they are and how much they were costing the family. He becomes uncontrollable and starts shooting the dogs. His mother (Maggie) tries to intervene and Paul shoots her. Buster comes up and discovers what happened and subsequently shoots Paul. Father (Alex) comes home and tries to cover up things.
Thats the latest from a few locals which may as well be the Hampton Enquirer

I agree on moral grounds but a ton of people are going to be listening to the 911 call when the Dateline episode hits TV so it probably doesn't matter a ton that it was put out there now
My wife heard this same story yesterday from a Hamptontonian “insider”. Alex has Paul take the cellphone which he disposed of up the road and later found. Seems reasonable. Supposedly, SLED will be releasing the report shortly.

I have family in that neck of the woods that claim there's another death related to them that has not been mentioned in the news. I'll see if I can find his name
It has come out that the dogs were NOT shot
Also I thought I heard Paul aka "Timmy" had his hands tied with rope
It has been reported, obviously not verified, that Buster was not in the area.

Maybe he was gonna shoot the dogs but they tied him up before he could pull the trigger

If Paul just shot mom "execution style" (according to SLED reports) then Buster's not getting close enough to shoot Paul "execution style".
I don't know a damn thing. Just what I hear from locals. Not all dogs were shot but some were. The bodies were near the kennel which makes you think something was going on with dogs.
Paul’s brother goes by Buster after his great grandfather.
Haha! I can guarantee that kid was not concerned about the upkeep of any dogs or how much they cost to keep. Nobody else in the family for that matter was worried about what it costs to keep dogs.

Hmmm, pretty silent everywhere else and the update on the FB post makes me skeptical. Taking with a grade of slaw for now. If true has jumped from Dateline to Netflix series, possible True Detective Season 4.
I don’t know, but, I will tell you, there are a lot of locals that read this update and didn’t bat an eye.
We do know that they opened the Smith Case back up, so they obviously have something.
Also makes you think, and I’m not a conspiracy guy in the least, if a powerful family can do this and get away with it in a small town, what kind of things can really powerful people get away with on a National and WW scale?!?!
I'll tell you exactly what they can get away with: changing all the good Diet sodas to Zero versions. Right under our noses, and we just take it.
