⚖️ MURDAUGH MURDERS & TRIAL THREAD ⚖️

I'll tell you exactly what they can get away with: changing all the good Diet sodas to Zero versions. Right under our noses, and we just take it.

It's not just the diet sodas. They have already effed with red can Coca-Cola. It's no longer labeled as 'Original Formula', but rather 'Original Taste' (which it isn't).

It was a podcast called Carolina Crimes posting that "a source" told them police had just unearthed three cars that were buried on the Murdaugh property, two of which were believed to be linked to prior crimes and one with unknown importance. They were apparently completely wrong.

Burying cars used to be a thing. Scrap didn’t pay enough to justify hauling them off. I’d hate to know how many my granddad buried on my W Columbia farm with a 3pt dirt scoop, scrape blade, and a shovel.

Haven’t looked at this thread since July and skipped to the last page. The lack of context roped me back in.

No news here that I see, other than the apparent acceptance that any prior close connection with the Murdaugh circle by anyone working in an legal capacity for the state no longer appropriate.

All I will say is that Duffie Stone sounds like a Will Ferrell character in whatever "sports" movie he comes out with next.

This coudl very well wind up like the Superbike murders in Spartanburg where everyone was wrong about whodunnit and it was some semi-random person with an axe to grind. The mom probably wasnt an intended target.

Come on! Here we go…
So, here’s what’s interesting. He withdrew from the case on August 11th because of née information found that day. On August 12th, the uncovered cars on the Murdaugh property was posted by the Lowcountry Crimes Investigators.

Now, Sled has since said that is not true, but something was definitely discovered around that time that was breakthrough in the case, no!?!?

Heard thru the grapevine that discovery from the wrongful death suit has produced evidence that Alex was directing the other kids in the boat not to share the fact that Paul/Timmy was driving when the Mallory Beech death occurred. Not hearsay, but first hand on the record official testimony by one of the kids. Lawyer folks I know say that is the type of thing that gets one's law license revoked. This is not necessarily germane to the double murder investigation but it is the only substantive new info regarding this whole cluster-F I've heard with any real teeth.

This may have already been mentioned somewhere in the 17 pages of this thread, but the podcast on this case on Spotify is pretty interesting to listen to for those that are trying to catch up on the history of this case. The lady's voice is kind of hard to listen to at first, but you get used to it. I thought it was pretty informative, based on what I've also read on here.

from what we’ve learned and read, that guy is way to narcissistic to hurt himself. I’m sure he thinks he’s a great man of character trying to protect his kids.
The people I know who know him well think very highly of him as a man of character. Pretty sure the whole family has a hit out on them. He was supposedly shot while changing a flat tire on the side of the road.

Apparently a car drove by him when he was on the side of the road, turned around, drove back by, and shot him. He is expected to be fine and has communicated with his brother whom he called immediately after the shooting

Ok, but then they fail to kill him when they find him alone on the road? Who survives a shot to the head and can still make phone calls?
More people than you can imagine. Javis Austin is one example...although I don't know that Javis was capable of making a phone call. My wife is a critical care nurse and says it happens frequently.

This is nuts. I have watched plenty of movies to fully know that you shoot the person once in the head and once in the chest.

In all seriousness, spoken to many people who think this is some kind of hit against them.
