Fine, john marvin. Take your ball and go home.

AM is adjusting his "story" to evolve with the situation. It's his pattern and practice when caught dancing outside the lines. His mind is a fully operational one-man criminal enterprise lodged between the two ears of his ginger-topped head.Totally.
That's really the mind-boggling irony here: He's claiming he's paranoid of an entity (law enforcement) that gave him preferential treatment at every turn, and that his family was disturbingly cozy with for generations.
Guess this is a consolation prize.....🤯Is it wrong to hope for at least a hung jury to see Mandy Matney's head explode?
Good lord I tried to listen to her podcast with her, Liz something or other and an attorney Eric Bland. Even when they are right, they are worse than Baghdad Bob.
She is definitely not a journalist, and Liz is worse.Guess this is a consolation prize.....🤯
Mandy Matney is a commentator, not a journalist.
I did not realize Alex's super black eagle 1 12gauge is missing. Ouch.
Exactly. That is what it was used for.
And a random killer wouldn't have put the hose back up. He has no reason to.
He is getting his ass kicked in this closing argument. I don’t know how anyone could think he’s not guilty and that the burden of proof hasn’t been met
Couldn't have said it better.I agree. The important thing is getting justice for Paul and Maggie. This is a circumstantial case, so there is no video, bloody fingerprints on a gun, etc.. If one believes that Alex is guilty based on what they have heard or seen, they should vote guilty. Letting Alex go for lack of a video showing him pull the trigger is not justice.
There are so many things that have been presented, including Alex being there within minutes of the murder and lying about it from the start, I would have no problem voting guilty. To me, the evidence that he is guilty is overwhelming. The defense's argument that the shooter was absolutely 5' 2"ish and therefor it couldn't have been Alex, is extremely weak. Moving the shooter backward or forward on the path of the bullet they are using changes the height. Saying they knew exactly where the shooter stood based on where the shells landed when they are scattered over a larger area, is extremely flawed.
The two shooter argument doesn't hold water for me either. If Alex left his phone at the house to hide his tracks, it is a no brainer to use two guns to make it look like there were multiple shooters. And the fact that the guns have been proven to be family guns does not line up with hired shooters or vigilantes, especially since they took the guns with them.
Paul and Maggie are dead. Vigilantes and hired "guns" makes zero sense due to the guns that were used and their disappearance. What other option is there other than Alex, who is documented to have been standing next to Paul and Maggie within minutes of their death?
Voting not guilty because of a need for absolutes is not delivering justice, especially if there is no conceivable alternative for not guilty. There is too much evidence here for there to be a third, IDK therefor not-guilty option.
I don't wanna make this a tangent on them but the most frustrating thing about them is they believe they are so high and mighty and the absolute salt of the earth. It just seems that they virtue signal a lot and think they're morally better than a lot of people. She is definitely not a journalist, and Liz is worse.
But hey, what can we do about it, right? Just put it off on the next generation and just blame them for it. Corruption isn't our problem. Our problem is the team we're not pulling for.Power = Money = Influence in local, state and federal venues and not in this type of scenario.
When a career politician leaves office having been paid a civil servant's wage but has millions in the bank post service, it begs the question how those funds were earned? What did the politician "sell/exchange"?
The system is disgusting to honest people. The system is embraced by those who leverage it for their own legal/illegal purposes.
Totally agree BUT if she had not dug so hard and kept things in front of people after the boat wreck and then after the murders, I am not so sure we would have had some 500,00 views on here as well as all of the other outlets that jumped on the bandwagon....as well as some true journalist. She is definitely not a journalist, and Liz is worse.
They have been on the front end of this story from the beginning but at some point they stopped being journalists and started being advocates for this crusade against “the good old boys”.Totally agree BUT if she had not dug so hard and kept things in front of people after the boat wreck and then after the murders, I am not so sure we would have had some 500,00 views on here as well as all of the other outlets that jumped on the bandwagon....as well as some true journalist.
Same with the Thornblade Saga
Even during this trial, I stopped looking/listening to their commentary because it was so slanted and to a point obnoxious. Pretty much have gotten all my info by following Avery Wilks twitter page because he's pretty good on just reporting facts of what's going on in the courtroom. They have been on the front end of this story from the beginning but at some point they stopped being journalists and started being advocates for this crusade against “the good old boys”.

I hope John Marvin tells us one day where he put the guns and clothes, since he's the cleanup man for the family...it is with the clothes...
prosecution is doing much better since the lunch break
I saw a theory the other day that has the guns and clothes in Randolph's grave with him. They would have had to have kept them hidden for a few days but that would have bene a convenient place to "dispose" of them after he passed away.I hope John Marvin tells us one day where he put the guns and clothes, since he's the cleanup man for the family...
"Well, I called up some law enforcement buddies the next day, and I asked them if the investigation was over and if it was alright to drop some stuff off in the river, and they said it was fine..."
You have identified why the problem persists. But hey, what can we do about it, right? Just put it off on the next generation and just blame them for it. Corruption isn't our problem. Our problem is the team we're not pulling for.
Hope he's sh^t himself out on the rehab trip or things could get unpleasant in the courtroom.Alex looks awful nervous listening to these closing remarks
Imagine being a juror for all of this. You've lost 6 weeks of your life you won't get back, you've seen some of the worst pictures of dead people that you will probably ever see, you have a defendant that you likely know is going to jail for a long time regardless of your verdict, its Thursday, there are 8-10 of your fellow jurors voting for a conviction, your kid has a travel ball tourney Saturday.....They may not, I don’t think the judge will let them deliberate less than 3 with out a verdict. I don’t believe there is anyway they come back with an acquittal. So by your way of thinking, it is guilty on all counts in 3 days or less.
I certainly wouldn’t argue against that, could very well happen that way.

Hope the state holds the best for the end and does not finish until tomorrow morning thus not to give the defense all night to come up with new angles in their closing statements
I don't think he did. I think that money is sitting in an offshore account somewhere.
Don't disagree w that. Things I know for 100,Dale stored that hose like it was his job. Bc it was.
He had to be fairly smart to steal the amount he did over the length of time it took to get caught. Is he smart enough to do that?
Ive wondered this myself and why Im invested in him being found guilty of this crime.
I agree but some people like to think they are smarter than everyone else and they need to actually see him pull the trigger. The prosecution presented:
1. Motive (financial collapse/pressure, lawsuits)
2. Opportunity (he was present during the murders)
3. Eliminated defense theory (no other phones on the cell tower; no evidence of third party)
4. Murder weapons (were guns owned by AM)
5. AM Lied throughout
6. Asking others to lie (grand ma's housekeeper)
7. Suspicious behavior (cousin eddie murder/suicide BS, blue tarp at grand ma's, and so on)
The prosecution has done a more than sufficient job. Alex Murdoch killed his wife and son.
Edit: I want to add that I really, really, really wish that he hadn't.

It’s pretty obvious to us idiots. Only smart people like @Larry_Williams need an actual video of him pulling the trigger.Prosecutors:
AM is a man that has testified to taking 2000mg of an opioid a day. He is a man that has testified that those opioids caused frequent paranoia. He is a man that has testified to the difficulties of withdrawal and the need to relieve those withdrawals. AM is a man that lied about being at the kennels on the day of the crime. He is a man that has testified that the opioid-induced paranoia led him to make those lies to law enforcement.
He is a man that has now been sober for 542 days. He is a man that has testified repeatedly that he would never hurt his wife and son.
If AM is a man that was under such heavy opioid usage that caused such extreme paranoia that he would completely lie about significant details of the night of the murder, would lie about staging his own death attempt, how are we to believe his testimony now after 542 of sobriety when that is not the mindset of the AM that was taking 2000mg of opioids/day when these events occurred?
The evidence presented shows that beyond reasonable doubt there could be and was only one other person at Moselle and the kennels on the night of the murders of Paul and Maggie Murdaugh. That person is Alex Murdaugh. Three people were there that day. Only one is still alive today.

I would think lots of news media/outlets have already figured out who most of the jurors are just by going thru social media accountsI am not a lawyer so I will tread lightly, but that happens all the time. The defense isn't really privy or even entitled to much information about the jury or their deliberations. I think it will be tough to make any sort of claim unless one of the members complains publicly after the fact.
Very curious to see if any of the members of jury come out publicly after the trial. They will be in high demand. The idea of 15 minutes of fame can be very alluring. My understanding is there identities are not going to be released by the court, but any individual can certainly say what they want to.
I think this was the sneaky plan all along .... pointed out well by the defense.I suspect that some of the jurors may even try this themselves.
It’ll all come out in $$$ trial. They have to know exactly where it went. The dumb bastard wrote checks for a ton of stuff. Another poster made a good point he had quite a few people on payroll, housekeepers, dog guy nannies etc. add in 2 high $ properties, 1777 acres is a lot to care for, equipment is expensive. Multiple high $ vehicles. Dropping $10000 on Christmas present guns. Salary they said was $125,000 and all bonuses at the end of year for lots of money. But to pay all those expenses as the soul bread winner on that salary is impossible. By the time those bonuses came around most went to payoff debts, credit cards family/friend loans. And claim in court not to know where it went.

I agree that we should not trust law enforcement as many are crooked, but it’s pretty obvious to me.
I wonder, as someone else mentioned earlier, if he parked money in the Caymans for his golden years. It’ll all come out in $$$ trial. They have to know exactly where it went. Wouldn’t surprise me if he got Eddie to hook him up with someone like a loan shark to get extra money when banks/family/friends are tapped out or you do t want them to know. May be what he was spending $50000/wk on was payments to someone?
Pretty sure his goose is cooked if its up to LW
