Republicans just don’t like the idea of voting being accessible to all eligible Americans because they know that the majority of the country leans left (because it makes sense and works) and they won’t be able to give all their money to the wealthy

That right there is a solid 7.0 IMO. It would have been higher, except for a small minus for grammar. A more pronounced insult towards Republicans would have pushed it over 8.0 for me but without a reference to Trump that's about all I could give. With that being said, can definitely appreciate the timing and the effort.

I will only say this - the most prevalent form of "identity theft" doesn't involve electronics - it involves checks that are in the mail. At least last I remember reading about it. The checks are stolen, modified (I think it's called "whitewashing"), and the money is stolen from the account.

There is a huge difference between requesting an absentee ballot, signing the application and signing the ballot vs what California and Nevada are doing by presumptive mailing ALL registered voters a ballot regardless of whether they requested on or not. Regardless of whether the address on file is the current address of the registered voter. Regardless of whether there is even a signature to validate. At least Nevada is only going with "active" voters.
These "ballots" wouldn't stand up in court in a chain of custody argument, so they just try to change to rules to make sure that it isn't fraud.
