Why the President continues to threaten to annex Canada and Greenland? I just don’t understand it. Today he insinuated that we would increase military presence in Greenland. The only way the US could take Canada would be via military invasion.

What is the point of all this? Why is he doing it? I genuinely do not understand the purpose of these continued threats to our allies. What’s the actual end goal?

Also, I’m seeing Metallica in Toronto at the end of an April and if the President’s continued actions against Canada screw that up somehow I will march on Washington.

There are legitimate reasons to get Greenland (suggested a google. Not being snarky, bc I had the same questions). Now, I think he’s going about it horribly if that’s the goal. But I support us purchasing the territory of Greenland if we’re able to

But with Denmark being a NATO ally and us already having military bases there and the likelihood that in the event of an actual war that we’d be able to increase our military presence based on our NATO alliances, don’t we already have the strategic military advantages that we feel acquiring Greenland would give us?

I don’t think it’s a huge need. But do think there are resources there and we could expand our presence etc. I’m just saying I think there are reasons to do it. But disagree with bullying allies, etc.

Regardless of what happens, please march on Washington tard. Nothing could scare anyone more.
