I mean you started with it was fake now it’s old do you have any proof. I’d like it to be old too as it’s dumb if he wore this shirt today. The shirt in itself is perfectly fine but in the middle of what is essentially a pr nightmare it’s a shocking lack of awareness if he wore it today.
The pressure at this point is becoming internal (within Clemson Family) and more meaningful than media hysteria. I have faith he’ll step up.

Perhaps that question should be asked of Dan Wolken and David Hale, members of a group, the press, that is all knowing about every issue. I have often wondered why people like Wolden and Hale don't give up their bitching jobs and go into coaching because they have all the answers on every issue imaginable.
Perhaps with a saying like that in your field of work, you can understand why the media is held in such low regard!
cplezia, I agree with your post but the other side of the issue is that the players that we want that fit our culture will go further in their investigation and talk with the coaches and players, both current and past, to get the real facts about Clemson. I think we have done pretty well so far.
And I’m telling you that’s BS. He’s not hurting team chemistry, and he hasn’t botched anything.
Thats what bothers me about all this BS. Its all based off of a false narrative that can be easily disproven but nobody wants to hear the actual truth.
That and the fact one of the leading agitators, BLM, is a fraud and huge hypocrites. They won't even acknowledge the black lives lost to other blacks or the loss of black cops during this mess they've helped start.

I’m plenty rational. I stand by my opinion. If black lives matters was a thing before that shirt then it’s tone deaf, even if you think BLM is misguided at times.
It has nothing to do with thinking BLM is misguided or not, at least not to me. This is a slogan for a youth football association, no more no less. It’s not automatically offensive now because BLM exists. It’s also not tone deaf....anyone who is offended by this is one of the people that just want to be offended and will latch on to anything to make it happen.

Football Matters is an organization that focuses on promoting on all the good that comes from the game. Like helping communities through service, higher graduation rates, and making the world a better place.
