No, the New Atheists are a bunch of crochety old boomers/Gen Xers who hate modern woke progressives. Douglas Murray is all about bs racial IQ differences, Sam Harris is a stark raving mad islamophobe, Richard Dawkins is still doing middle school level philosophy, a lot of them are anti trans.

Dawkins probably means it in terms of some aesthetic/social value thing, rather than actual belief. No difference there between him and RW fascist atheists like Charles Maurras from back in the day
