They live in the Suburbs. His parents live downtown and were terrified during the BLM riots a while back. Couldn’t leave their home for a while because of the violence. They are also Jewish. Despite all that they are Blue No Matter Who.

J6 had over 800k people and only a few hundred got violent. So it was mostly peaceful by a large degree. With your "mostly peaceful protest" there was thousands being violent. Also your may 2020 riot in DC was way way worse than J6. More cops injured and way more damage to the city. You even firebombed the White House and threatened POTUS and he had to be moved. You set the city of DC on fire like it had not been since the British burned it down. So fuk off with your bs...Like many of the J6 videos have shown and testimony agents were behind a lot of what happen J6 including the pipe bombs. Sounds like the Chicago Cops held strong. They definitely had some leeway to take matters into their own hands. They also seemded well prepared with multiple levels of fences and other barricades.
Glad to see Chicago shine on the world stage. In all honesty I see why Democrats in big cities like big Government. When you live on top of each other you must share more resources and more order is needed simply due to the density.
But the pendulum has swung to far. The rest of the country is tired of living under city rules at the moment. And Kamala is a weak leader and the country needs strong leadership now!

Chicago has the potential to be a world class city.
I see the allure of a democratic run city, but even they are fvcking that up. All you have to do is look at the population of the city. The population has declined for almost 10 years in a row when other places are gaining massive amounts of new citizens.
Chicago is a great city which is poorly run. Mayor Johnson’s approval rating is running around 27%, lower than any mayor in the last 100 years.
I was trying to give credit where it is due, and the Mayor did a good job of giving the cops the authority to get the job done. He still sucks overall as seen by his approval ratings.
