And in case anyone wanted an update (and thank you to all who offered up a prayer or well wish!), my friend unfortunately died tonight. He went to a friend's funeral and caught Covid.

He didn't get vaccinated, his choice, and could have and the person who gave him covid likely wasn't vaccinated and could have been.

I don't want to debate with anyone--hug your loved ones, consider getting the vaccine yourself or having an uncomfortable conversation with someone who is hesitant.

I’m not being insensitive but just had a 24 year old employee die of cancer. I wish we’d get our eyes back on the prize that Covid is not cancer and why are we not outraged at these Pharma companies and the American Cancer Society? Billions of research and no cure? Cancer kills kids and babies.... Covid is a non issue in the grand scheme.
