I just made dinner reservations for Monday night. TN is back open next week.

@nytigerfan you do realize that masks aren’t mandatory so why is it that everyone who chooses not to wear one a dick?
Because with an ongoing pandemic you owe it to your fellow man to be courteous and conscientious. When going to a supermarket, you should wear a mask so that - God forbid you are asymptomatic- you don’t infect anyone else shopping for produce, meats, paper goods.

Love thy neighbor. I forget who said that but if I recall he had a big impact in the western world.

So dramatic.

are you wearing an N95 mask? if not, wearing a mask will do little for you and your wife if nobody else is wearing them. I wear a mask in stores to prevent me potentially passing something on to someone else, e.g. the 55 year old woman at the grocery checkout who has to go to work to support herself, despite being high risk.
My wife sews us a 3 layer mask now...denim is the middle layer of the mask. The mask will absolutely protect us. We found hand cleanser thank God. Prior to going in anywhere, we run hand cleaner over the outside. I spoke with my brother who once ran a hospital lab. Short of the high risk contamination suits, he assured me it will protect us. Like anything else, it's not a guarantee. There are few guarantees in real life.

Let me say this one more time, slowly for you. This article says that wearing a mask will not protect YOU. But that is not the point. The CDC wants people to wear masks so they don’t infect other people. If you go get your hair cut tomorrow, the risk of infecting yourself is very low. But since the person cutting your hair has multiple coming in throughout the day, they are the ones more at risk. Same with the kind lady who rings you up at the grocery store. Wearing a mask protects THEM, not you. This is not that hard to understand.

It's pretty clear. "WHO says there is no need for healthy people to wear masks." Perhaps you should call them with your argument.
People who are asymptomatic might think they are healthy when they aren’t.

Why do you suppose airlines want passengers to wear masks? So that passengers won’t infect others. Why does a surgeon wear a mask? It isn’t to keep him safe from the patient; it is to keep the patient safe from his germs. Same thing with wearing masks in a grocery store. Be considerate of others.

I could continue this argument, but with you being this obtuse what is the point? Please wear a condom when you bone your cousin.

And you are an insufferable prick who despite being wrong about everything still feels that the world needs your input.

You seem very upset now that many states are reopening. Coincidence?

Your calculated hoax is a genius plot.... evil, but genius. Nothing lasts forever though, so for your well being, you need to come to terms with that. Cheers!

I’m admittedly intrigued at the change you’ve made. You have been so upset here for weeks during this virus upheaval, and now... you seem so considerate in regards to others.

Good for you! What a nice guy.

as usual you are completely and utterly incorrect. I have plenty of clients in those states and them reopening is good for my bottom line. I feel selfish though, since they will be exposing themselves to yokels who refuse to wear a mask while I will continue to work from one if my comfortable home offices.

the trump shutdown is no hoax. His 30 days to slow the spread guidelines will damage our economy for years to come. The unemployment numbers are scary. Trump has destroyed all the progress that Obama made in lowering unemployment in this country.

Today’s MSM narrative push 101.

Haha

Excuse me for apparently being dense but are you saying the entire world is caught up in a hoax in order to drive Trump from office? Just today, that ultra liberal PM of Britain (this is real sarcasm as opposed to Trump) said that for his country it was far to soon to lift lockdown restrictions.

I get that every country is different but there is no conspiracy here. Nations are appropriately worried about a pandemic that is killing tens of thousands worldwide, including going on 60,000 in the US. That’s in 3 months’ time.

The virus is real, yes.... just as many others exist and kill daily, weekly, monthly, annually.

The calculated scheme is the hoax. Congrats for playing innocent/ignorant.

@kgwillison I can assure you that I’m more conscientious and courteous than most of those walking around in a mask. I choose common sense over wearing a mask.
