I, personally don’t think it’s ok for an ex-president to sell classified info about our nuclear weapons

This study is middle school debate club level hilarious. Before posting studies (at least sharing them with me) take a few minutes to actually read a little bit about em and see if they are legit or this hilariously bad.

Y. Hswen conceptualized the idea, developed and carried out the analytical methods, interpreted the findings, and wrote the article. X. Xu helped collect the data, and coded and assisted with analysis. A. Hing coded data, helped with the interpretation of the data, and edited the article. J. B. Hawkins and J. S. Brownstein supervised the analytical methods and the data collection and provided critical feedback. G. C. Gee encouraged Y. Hswen to investigate and supervised the findings of the work, interpreted the results, and wrote the article alongside with Y. Hswen.

Objectives. To examine the extent to which the phrases, “COVID-19” and “Chinese virus” were associated with anti-Asian sentiments.

Methods. Data were collected from Twitter’s Application Programming Interface, which included the hashtags “#covid19” or “#chinesevirus.” We analyzed tweets from March 9 to 23, 2020, corresponding to the week before and the week after President Donald J. Trump’s tweet with the phrase, “Chinese Virus.” Our analysis focused on 1 273 141 hashtags.

Results. One fifth (19.7%) of the 495 289 hashtags with #covid19 showed anti-Asian sentiment, compared with half (50.4%) of the 777 852 hashtags with #chinesevirus. When comparing the week before March 16, 2020, to the week after, there was a significantly greater increase in anti-Asian hashtags associated with #chinesevirus compared with #covid19 (P < .001).

Conclusions. Our data provide new empirical evidence supporting recommendations to use the less-stigmatizing term “COVID-19,” instead of “Chinese virus.”

The study was much longer and much more detailed than the snippet you posted. Beyond that, wtf is wrong with you dude? You seem to have a particular obsession with mocking me from the sidelines without engaging in any kind of adult debate. You never say anything engaging or interesting enough to attack and you act like a psychopathic child at times - re: the 10,000 emoji response.

The MAGAs on this board post by far the most ridiculous content but you don't say a word to them. So keep pretending that you're a moderate when it's obvious you lick that orange taint. If you've got something to say to me, stop being a pussy and debate me like ana adult.

Do you think the President had good intent by calling it by that name? Is that a responsible thing for a President to do when he knows his supporters will act against anything or anyone they deem a threat to him?
I mean he called it what it was… it came from China. He wanted to hold them accountable, for which they still haven’t been. Anyone with a brain can understand that’s not how we treat Chinese Americans in the United States. It’s the Chinese Government responsible, has nothing to do with anyone here…

wasn’t there a South African variant too? Is that racist? Like it’s literally where it originated from, the virus started in China 🇨🇳

That study is an absolute joke if you took the time to read it. If you would have applied any logical scrutiny towards it instead of searching for confirmation bias, you would have seen how dumb it really is.

I only mock hilarious hot takes and you seem to be a never ending source of them.

I called out and lol'd at all sorts of maga stuff ITT and other threads.

Whataboutism followed by a debate me request. Par for the course with you and how you interact with others in these threads.

Just admit that you had no interest in the study other than a need to mock me from the sidelines. No matter what it said, I'd get the same response from you.

If you ever decide to post anything other than pithy two sentence insults or unimportant middle of the road responses to other people's posts, it would be a first. By doing so, you insulate yourself from the same childish criticism you dish out.

You call my hot takes hilarious but I always have sources to back my claims, but if you still think they're off-base, step up and engage me like an adult. K?

That study has the same level of legitimacy as this:

I post original material all the time, it's not my fault you don't see it.

Your takes are hilarious because you don't back them up with legitimate sources or they are just straight up media bs drivel like that abc article you posted. It's the same thing that @TigerGrowls does using gateway pundit all the time.

I find it upsetting were going to rename monkeypox but no one says a word about chickenpox. Why rename one but not the other? One animal is more important? Does no one care about the chickens?!?! Life just isnt fair

I havent seen anything but ive been too overcome with emotional stress to look into it. In an era with so much progress and focus on social justice and equality… to think wed so blatantly place one animal above another has my chakras all out of sorts.

It really does feel like we have much more important things to worry about than whether or not Trump took some documents legally or illegally.......

Yea thats probably why their economy has gone to sht tho so…might not be the worst idea to get em into this admin too. Make some use of their ability to damage everything they touch. Lemons into lemonade one might say

Starting to look like it MIGHT have all been a rouse so the Jan 6 committee could try and get back door access to Trump and his lawyers records that are protected by attorney-client privilege and papers protected under executive privilege that they dont have legal authority to. If this is true all involved in making that decision need to be charged and removed from their positions asap...

Kelly Anne's husband, who is a lawyer, says it doesn't matter. We'll see

I guess it’s because every time you folks say he’s lying, it turns out a year/18 months later he was telling the truth. The MSM is the boy who cried for wolf, and you keep falling for it.

Don’t worry Charlie Brown, one day you may actually get to kick the football.
One of the dumbest takes ever on this board and there’s been some bad ones…

Over Thirty Thousand Five Hundred Seventy Three proven lies in 4 years alone

You know how far your head has to be up your ass to ignore this volume and frequency of lying??? This is mind boggling that some people subscribe to the “alternate facts” BS. He lies every day, multiple times a day. Anyone with even just one ounce of intellectual integrity and decency would admit that. Just because you don’t like him being accused of stuff doesn’t make him a source of truth. He is the worst liar in decades…

Like I would even listen to what that guy has to say about Trump since he has displayed so much hate for Trump the last several years. What kind of law did he practice? Not constitutional law but securities, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and antitrust. Thats like saying a guy that does boob jobs knows what a neurosurgeon knows because he's a doctor....

Except that a lawyer, no matter his specialty, would know a lot more about it than you or any talking heads on FoxNews. Not to mention he's pretty well connected so he probably knows what he's talking about. But you're right - he could be wrong and that's why I said "let's see."

He is also very partisan and has lied on air before to the people about Trump. Just like the FBI who has been caught red handed lying to the FISA Judge and tampered with evidence. Would be nice to hear more from independent voices instead of the partisan ones on each side...

Sorry but that makes no sense. Even the president is allowed the right to attorney/client confidentiality, otherwise he has no shot at a fair trial. This will end up being a bad decision by the DOJ.
That's not the point here though. All the buzz I'm seeing says "the documents" related to attorney-client privilege while "in the White House" still belong at the White House. There's a lot of circumstances around the privilege that aren't as straightforward as you'd imagine, but since I'm not an attorney I'm not sure what to think. Just pointing out that according to other voices out there, he still shouldn't be in possession of them.

1. Russia wasn't a hoax. He wasn't found innocent. They tried to collude and sucked at it.

2. He was impeached, twice.

3.Who said that COVID didn't come from china? Everyone said it originated from WuHan, some debate about how it happened.
He wasn’t found innocent? Gtfo

the Russia shit was a pure hoax and your failure to admit it shows your bias.

repeat after me. The Russian collusion narrative and Steele dossier was a made up hoax perpetrated by bad actors in the fbi.

Or maybe the fbi was just that incompetent.. neither is a good look.

Still hard to believe he was on TYT for years. It's crazy how TYT had both JD and Dave Rubin on it for years and wasted their talent.
Yep just goes to show how far left they have gone that they make people like Dore, Rubin, Pool, Rogan, and Maher see rightwing now. Hell even Trump is a Lib that seems rightwing now compared to the far left...

Reading and having understanding of big words like exonerate is important when trying to understand that he was not found innocent.

He tried to collude, and like most things Donald Trump has tried to do in his life he failed at it because they were woefully incompetent.

The revisionist history is annoying, isn’t it?

Mueller:”If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so”.

There sure is a lot of gloating in spite of the fact Trump got off solely because of Presidential immunity. The system never accounted for having such a crook elected and this made him untouchable, but definitely not innocent!

Repeat after me. Russian Collusion was a hoax perpetrated by a dirty and corrupt faction within the FBI. #Facts

Mueller spent $40mm on the most investigated man in history, with the full force of arguably the best intelligence agency in the world, and he came back with nothing. And you BOZOS still buy it hook line and sinker. You people are brainwashed.

If there was a crime he would have been charged. Innocentt until proven guilty is how our (two tiered) justice system works people. First grade level competence required to understand that.

Repeating bullshit doesn't make it true. I know it's Trump's approach and he uses it every day (see "Stop the steal" BS).

"The former special counsel Robert Mueller made it clear on Wednesday that the reason prosecutors didn't consider charging President Donald Trump with a crime wasn't because of a lack of evidence, but because they are precluded from doing so by a longstanding Department of Justice (DOJ) policy"

"Under longstanding department policy a president cannot be charged with a federal crime while he is in office," Mueller said. "Even if the charge is kept under seal and hidden from public view, that, too, is prohibited."

He added, "Charging the President with a crime was therefore not an option we could consider"

Trump got off on a technicality.

From what we know now, it does sound like one of the FBI agents misrepresented the source of info used to get the FISA warrant. So, there was wrongdoing on that part and that's not right. But please stop with the lies about him being innocent, that's not at all what the report says and what Mueller explained.

Either way, history has validated who Trump is and how he operates. The "Stop the steal" BS, the insurrection impeachment, etc.

"The Senate voted 57–43 to convict Trump of inciting insurrection, falling 10 votes short of the two-thirds majority required by the Constitution, and Trump was therefore acquitted. Seven Republican senators joined all Democratic and independent senators in voting to convict Trump, the largest bipartisan vote for an impeachment conviction of a U.S. president or former U.S. president"

So, keep living in your fantasy world, the rest of the world knows the truth about Trump.

History has already proven me right. And it’s only going to get worse. More dirt is going to come out as people close to this mess no longer risk incrimination. In 10 years, nobody will admit to supporting Trump (and a lot of people are already hedging their bets). History will look back on this period as a dark time for our democracy.
