My guess is his reference that the USA has turned into a police state, much like the Communists and the Socialists across the pond where ratting out your fellow citizen is the norm. What a waste of resources by SLED.
Actually give the weather is pretty good I doubt many people will eat inside. I’ve eaten outside a few times in downtown Greenville and it’s much nicer.
Until we get really hot weather I think the outdoor dining option will be the preferred option for most people.
I have heard of SLED busting a few gyms which had reopened quietly. They didn’t fine them but told them to shut down and if it they reopened their would be more severe consequences.

I am very confused...are you saying the people of the US are acting like communists, or that the government/SLED is?
IMHO the reopening is not about the virus or testing or a lot of things relative to the original shut down . The reopening is about economic survival of the vast majority And the fact that at some point most Americans will rebel against what they consider too much government control . In the end it will be about accountability and personal responsibility to your neighbor to do the right thing .

SLED should be focusing on the Hundreds, if not thousands of criminals released from Prison because of Covid-19, that's going to be a bigger problem than any Restaurant seat violations.
The one good thing that I have seen from this whole fiasco is people are treating people more politely in public. I see folks allowing others to go 1st. I speak to people that I dont know. More people are polite back to me than I have ever noticed before.
On the other hand, you have 50 governors from 50 states and the way some Govenors are running their states it wont surprise me for there to be some riots with guns actually shooting elected officials.
All I know is that I have reservations for Hall's in Greenville for Friday night.

Talked to a number of proprietors here in Horry County over the last couple of weeks. Several of them are not going to reopen. They're toast. They've already contacted business brokers.
Hopefully by June 1 Mcmaster removes all these restrictions.

Not good situation at all. There is apparently a barbershop up there that has reopened in defiance of the executive order. The Gov made a comment that the owner could be subject to arrest. The “Michigan Militia” made a statement that the owner would not be arrested and that they would block law enforcement from entry into the barbershop ....
ya .... all it’s going to take is one member of the “militia” to go full @treetiger OR one LEO with @johnhugh -esq delusions to change the world for this to get out of hand ricky tick ......

ridiculous statement. Right or wrong they are trying to make people safe. I don’t know whether wearing a mask helps save people but it’s not going to hurt me or anyone else by trying. Be safe not sorry. I can’t believe people freaking think this way. I for one don’t believe in all the testing that we are doing because I think they haven’t been perfected yet but I don’t blame anyone.
