So? I've never maintained that the CDC (or any government agency) is perfect. I'm saying that that it's better to listen to them than some dumbass with a webpage selling supplements or some Dr. rambling on about "Demon Sex".The cdc/fda still recommends low fat high carb diet for diabetics.
PLUS... I'm not seeing what you are seeing from the CDC: Here's their website for meal planning. Can you point out the low fat, high carb part? I'm seeing that they are suggesting limiting carbs by eating more non starchy veggies, but recommend a balanced diet that focuses on keeping your blood sugar in check rather than what you are eating:
