This guy quit as trump's attorney shortly after this interview. I think he realizes that these arguments are not going to hold up in court, and he does not want to end up disbarred like Rudy.
On the surface it looks like Trump made a lot of bad hires. I think there is more to the story and maybe it comes out one of these days.

Where are all the high profile lawyers? If this was an easy charge to defend, you'd think they'd be clamoring to represent him in one of the highest profile cases in our history.
Exactly. Every legal expert I have heard speak to this who wasn't a Trump shill has basically said he's in trouble. This indictment was laid out with so much detail. It's really hard to not look at it and say, "wow, what the hell was he thinking?"

I appreciate your positions on Trump. Here's hoping that is a consistent viewpoint because thus far, that's not proving to be accurate. Unless your war isn't really with all the things you talk about but the fact that Trump is one of the most belligerent and obnoxious people ever. In which case that become a personality conflict. Otherwise, there's a plentiful supply of people very similar to him in a most ways all around us.
Even better is the fact that he's being charged with a felony under a law he signed and put into place to "get Hillary".

I agree. Im not sure which particular people you are referring to, but I am totally fine with prosecuting people when they break the law. I believe in our Justice system and that ultimately we all get judged by a jury of our peers.
It's so much more than that. It's a single standard of justice. It's admitting that so many of the things that were charged against the despicable Trump simply weren't true. It's the understanding that so many things have been said in so many directions in recent years that credibility for nearly every institution is in shambles. The core elements of a successful society are the rule of law and adherence to the truth. Both have been grievously wounded in recent years. The recovery will be long and difficult.
Two things can be true, Trump broke the law and also that he's been targeted by law enforcement in a Berian manner. Anytime we have to resurrect the name of Lavrentiy Beria to talk about our justice system it is a very bad thing. There is ample evidence that our current president is extremely corrupt. Where's your desire to investigate this to find out the truth? There are so many examples of people like this in politics, it's hard to know where to begin. Trump is trash and if we're going to take out the trash, let's take it ALL out regardless of whether it has a D or and R by the name. Unfortunately, there's not much appetite for that because the people who are calling for Trump's head are really no better than Trump themselves because they are corrupted by the desire for political gain and not for the bolstering of the rule of law.

Well all this is about to get fun. The news just broke that the document that the committee got on Joe Biden and Hunter Biden show them getting $5,000,000 each from the Burisma executive on a company board that Hunter Biden sat on (by the way the crack addict had now experience or knowledge of the energy industry). The document specifically calls Joe Biden the 'Big Guy' which is referenced name on Hunter Biden's computer, where Hunter frustratingly says that he had to give 50% to the 'Big Guy. There are now known to be 3 other documents held by the FBI that the committee is expecting to get their hands on. Also known from this document is that this Burisma executive made 17 recordings as insurance for himself. These too the committee will be getting.
As bad as this thing is, what may be worse is that the FBI and DOJ knew of this for years and sat on it!!! And the Fake News media is also being mum on it. As much as I would like to see Joe Biden and his marxist regime go down, I certainly don't want Camel-head Harris to become president because she may be worse.
