im glad they escaped, 6 other continents to choose, let them be be free in a country not bombing their families.

why on earth would americans wanna allow these refugees, ones that we are currently and have been BOMBING THE SHIT. OF OF THEIR HOMELAND to live beside them not knowing 100% which side they are on?

How many Americans have died by terrorist attacks on our soil since 9/11? How many have died in mass shootings since 9/11? Now, which one scares you more?

There is no paper trail on these immigrants, no way to screen them before they get here. This has already been admitted. We have to basically take them at their word. When they get here we have no effective way to track what they are doing.
Add to that they will be living on the tax dollars dime for the forseeable future. We have over 50 thousand homeless US veterans we are not taking care of, as well as untold numbers of people across this country who have fallen through the cracks. Until we can take care of our own, we shouldn't even consider allowing in ANY immigrants from anywhere.

Not true. Take the time to see the program laid out for Syrians refugees. They will be tracked. Refugees will be able to work thru a permit once they complete the screening that takes 12 - 18 months. A lot of misinformation that is causing fear mongering, racial ignorance and political games when people can avoid political ideology blogs, media and print and research this themselves.

Don't pull the Veterans card. How about electing candidates that ACTUALLY support Veterans and hold them accountable. Let's not harm social programs and safety nets that some Veterans are dependant on. That is how WE help Veterans.
