Man. Did you not watch the 2020 election and then the 2022 midterms? How did Trump's candidates do in GA, AZ, PA, etc? You know, the states he needs to flip in order to win.

So much has changed since 2016. 2020 and 2022 are much better points of comparison.

Trump may bring out his fair share of mouthbreathers, but he also drives dems to the polls in record numbers to vote against him.

As @BionicTiger said, a vote for Trump in the primary is a vote for the democrats in 2024. And I'm a 2 time Trump voter. But I will not vote for him again.

I may actually know you then. I used to call on ECP’s a few years ago. That actually makes sense now. Before I got into that industry I had no clue how large that market was. I’ve had 20/15 all my life and I think I’ve only been to one OD as a requisite for my athletic scholarship at Wofford.

Cmon you’re smarter than that. This is a lazy take. Just because a person doesn’t approve of the current admin doesn’t make them a maga, it’s not a this or that. I would be fine with RFKJr (If he will do what he says) I’d prefer it actually because he could probably help bridge the divide.

Not me. I own guns and have a CWP. I am all for background checks and I have concerns over access for people who have demonstrated mental issues, or a violent nature. I don't think getting a firearm should be a fast process. If you need a gun fast, it's probably not a great reason.

GTHO with the same dumb shit about groomers. If you were really concerned you'd do something about pastors and youth ministers.

Where is this civil war you speak of. The only places in America that I would avoid are places like Chicago Seattle Portland Minneapolis etc. Those areas are in really bad shape and there is nothing bi partisan about that. When someone on a Clemson message board has to warn another member of said board that when walking into a fish market be careful to watch for drug needles as to not step on them that’s a problem that was created by allowance. Can you imagine telling a friend that wanted to come watch a Clemson game that they needed to be careful where they walk or step for fear of stepping on needles or being robbed by vagrants?

Do they have 80 million followers on social media they gaslight and spread dangerous lies to throughout the day - every day? Do those people at the fishmarket run for President and plot coups to overturn election results they don't like?

Hate to be the one to break it to you, but ever major city in the world, including the US has areas of significant poverty and crime that you don't want to visit. None of those cities you named are dangerous to visit if you don't go to areas of abject poverty.

What major city is there in the entire world that doesn't have an area in their metropolitan areas that doesn't have crime and poverty? Give me some examples then?

It's sort of chicken or the egg for me. I don't think what we have done in the inner cities with Housing Projects was good and has lead to heightened levels of crime and poverty. I don't like much of what is happening in San Francisco and would like change. But it's a story as old as time itself with inner cities and poverty and crime.

FTR, I don't love the far left policies, I'm very moderate for the most part when we aren't discussing People's personal Liberties and freedoms. I would also say that the vast majority of the country feels similarly to what I do. We may have a few topics we disagree on, but we agree on probably 80% of issues. Our biggest problem in America is we have demonized the word compromise and made it a weakness instead of the goal.

His support in Pickens is probably 80% or so, but elections are about addition. Other candidates will go to areas where they may even gain support. I worked in and around Pickens for 40 years, and while there are many wonderful people there it is the armpit of the upstate. The schools stink, there are no decent restaurants, and there is a independent Baptist church on every corner. Cosmopolitan it is not. As a private citizen Trump would not spend 5 minutes there.

There is probably 30-40 other places that would qualify as “armpit of the upstate” ahead of Pickens. It’s a quiet, small town, not every place can be Greenville. It’s not that bad
