My first thought after reading OP was why do people still put this crap on Facebook.
Then the responses were all over the place.
I feel a little sorry for the girl and mom. Really I do. But they are not victims. They definitely could have avoided it. I am sorry the girl will be blind and sorry the mom has to wake up every morning and wonder if she could have helped.
But my sympathy stops there. And i cannot empathize with them. I am probably addicted to TI but that is about it. I do believe genetics impact addictive tendencies. But so does society and parenting.
All that being said. And I truly appreciate those on here making some jokes. Sarcasm is an art lost on todays people.
