I think his poll numbers are worrisome for most democrats. Currently he is losing to a convicted felon. I think its likely he loses to Trump in the fall based on how his polling is going. His current favorable numbers are some of the lowest any of us have ever seen

I believe Trump's stance, as is the Supreme Court's, is to leave that issue up to the states. I think the federal government should have less power and the states should have the ability to determine that.

What is the issue with allowing states to decide their abortion laws?
I asked you about kids because I often find that people that are okay with abortions and even late stage abortions do not have kids. I think bringing a child into the world is a big deal and when you hear the heartbeat for the first time, it's special. I couldn’t imagine killing something so precious. I get there are instances where abortion may be the only option, I just think it should be decided by the states and not the federal government. I believe that's what our Supreme court has stated.

The idea that states don’t have ability to restrict rights protected by the Constitution? The Supreme Court hasn't extended that protection to abortion, so that’s the legal position we have. It doesn’t free Trump from the obligation of having to defend that position, and I don’t think the evangelical crowd has done him many favors in that regard.
States didn’t have the ability to enforce segregation. And it didn’t get fixed until the federal government fixed it.
It was pretty stupid of you to ask in the first place then.
