Oh hey guys! It’s your friendly in monitor Bro Montana.

I believe this is the first time I’ve ever ventured over to this board, and figured I would stay in close contact here through tomorrow. There’s one thing for sure and that is it will be an insane day

I assume everyone posting in here knows each others political affiliation, so

I was raised by 2 Republicans in NJ, which has been blue ever since Jimmy Carter

I truly view myself as someone who leans conservative, in some cases strongly, while also agreeing with enough Democratic policies to consider a Dem for President if they’re the most qualified for the job

I voted for Obamas 2nd term over Romney so I have a history to justify the lean

I want to go on record that I think Donald Trump has done many great things but is also a scumbag. I’m not voting for him because he is a nice guy and I can relate to him

For me, as someone who runs a business, the office of President is the most important job in the country and needs to be held by someone with a resume of success. They are interviewing for the job in front of us for months

One candidate has been President and did a lot of great things when he was there

The other does not have a resume. I’ve asked several democrats to name for me one good accomplishment for Harris in her time as either Senator or VP and I have yet to receive one

I’m also going on record in saying that I think Kamala Harris is the worst and least qualified candidate for President in US history. And strictly due to the division in our country she actually has a shot, which is very sad

This isn’t a “likability” contest and the most qualified candidate to take care of our country should win. Thales of party.

My vote has already been casted for Trump and I think it’s called very early. Kamala is ****ing toast. Time to return to a sense of normalcy in our country

Anyway, sorry for rambling but I’m happy to be here and looking forward to seeing what you guys think of my perspective

You can't get any dem to tell you what she has done, because not only has she not done anything, they are not voting for her. They are voting AGAINST Trump. It's that simple. And sad!

also own businesses. Let me see who I would hire to run them.

Candidate A.
Current VP
Former senator
Former prosecutor.

Candidate B.
Former CEO who wrecked company in year 4.
After being fired, hatched a plan to remain in position by lying his ass off.
Directed his uneducated riff raff followers to violent uprising at company headquarters.
Former reality TV game show host.
Currently carrying $2B+ in personal debt, some to other countries.
30+ felony convictions for business fraud.
Majority of former direct reports have warned me that hiring him again will be a huge mistake, that he will destroy my business and that he is a narcissist asshole who only cares about himself.

hmmmmmmmm. This is tough one.

Did you C&P this from CNN or CNBC?

I could poke holes in a bunch of these, but this one is my favorite:
  • Prosecuted transnational gangs, the drug cartels and human traffickers
Ironic to use the words transnational and cartels in a sentence that is supposed to be a positive for Harris

There are 12.5m people living here ILLEGALLY who have came across our southern border in the last 4 years alone. You hear the stats on the murderers/rapists/terrorists, but here is what bothers me most

$1B spent to feed, house, and care for these criminals in our country. 138 hotels in NYC (138!) filled with illegal immigrants

This money was taken from FEMA’s budget. Not only were rescue efforts a disaster in western NC a few weeks back, as American citizens were left in the cold to die while waiting for their government to help them, but they are only offering $750 to people who have lost their entire lives

That money should be given to the hard working LEGAL citizens of the US, and it’s instead used to harbor criminals

How can you tout Kamala for being a prosecutor when she is knowingly allowing 12.5m people to break the law?

I am not a business owner, but I do run a 25+ person department and hire regularly. If I were hiring someone for a leadership role, and 95% of the people that worked for them previously wouldn't endorse them for the job, I would give the job to literally anyone else, because it is at least worth a shot. Just a different perspective.

She did that as a prosecutor.

And I love your line “you hear the stats on rapists”. Where do you hear those stats? From catturd?

I thought from your original post that you might actually be a serious person. I was wrong. Carry on.

Yes, I run a similar sized team for a large corporation and there is NO WAY I would hire a manager with the turnover Candidate A had. It would be a non starter.

He's got charisma, but his people leave him, which means he's probably toxic.

That’s why I didn’t say any of the stats, because how do I know if they’re truly accurate? 13k rapists, 16k murderers or whatever is being said…the actual number doesn’t really matter. These people came here illegally and a lot of them are doing more illegal things when they get here, which is just human nature. They’re doing what they have to in order to survive in a place where they’re not allowed to be.

Here’s a serious question: Kamala has stated on record that she wants to decriminalize entering our country illegally. Basically, if you’re human and you come here, you’re welcomed with open arms and given all of the same rights as citizens: access to education, healthcare, lodging, etc with no background check.

Do you agree with this stance, and if so, do you feel safe living in this country?

Show me a video or direct quote of her saying that. Exactly what you typed.

There is a difference between being undocumented and illegal.

Undocumented immigrants line up at ports of entry and request asylum. A very low percentage are granted asylum and allowed to await their asylum hearing. This can take up to 10 years, This is one of the things that the bipartisan border bill wanted to fix... more judges to adjudicate these cases. These laws were written when Reagan was president. My maid is one of these people. She has a successful business, has a family, pays taxes, and must check in at the immigration center once a month. She goes there knowing they could put her on a bus and ship her out of the country, leaving her children behind. She receives no government money.

Illegal immigrants are people who enter the country undetected by law enforcement. For obvious reasons, there is no way to know how many there are.

I do feel very safe living in this country. There are criminals everywhere, both citizens and non-citizens. I see no evidence that undocumented immigrants are committing more crimes than citizens. If you can provide some evidence, I will look at it. Of course, twatter posts don't count.

A white neo nazi American, emboldened by your candidate, was arrested just yesterday for an attempt to bomb a power plant in Nashville and bring down the nation's power grid. So, honestly, people like you make me feel less safe.

If I had to rank candidates from the last 10 elections, she would likely be in my bottom 5.

I just happen to think that civility/rhetoric/integrity matters more due to the checks and balances of our government structure.

I'm absolutely exhausted by MAGA and grievance politics, and the quicker we can move on the better. I would've voted for Haley over Harris.

That is not a serious question. The fact that you think it is indicates low cognitive ability.
When has she ever been voted in to a position by citizens of the US? Why hasn’t she won a primary?

Your own party didn’t think she was fit for the position until they realized Trump would have boat raced Joe

And you know, from a party who doesn’t like when the President says mean things, you’re pretty quick to call me a stupid person for asking a very simple and fair question

I don’t think we should go tit for tat on these occurrences where people haven’t acted appropriately. Dems are very quick to bring up Jan 6, but I haven’t heard or seen one reminder of Minneapolis in 2020 after Trump was elected or any of the other major cities where radical lefts rioted and burned down their own towns.

Both sides have supporters in the extreme area that are doing ridiculous shit. Hopefully this is something we can agree on

That said, your maid is doing it the right way. The legal way. She has every right to do her thing, because she’s following the rules

There’s 12.5m people here who didn’t, and we’re basically accepted with open arms from a government that not only doesn’t care about border security, but is willing to extend our hard earned resources to these criminals

Why did Trump block the bipartisan bill that was passed to substantially increase border control?

You asked me to respond to a statement made by Harris, but that statement was not made by her.

I know I won't change your mind, but your border numbers are inaccurate. The 12.5 MM is based on border apprehensions over the last four years, but only about 30% of those people apprehended are granted temporary status (let in). And remember, apprehended also applies to people who line up at a port of entry. It even applies to people who fly into the country. And, many of the people who are NOT granted temporary status will try several more times to cross, thus pumping up those apprehension numbers even more.

In June this year, Harris/Biden enacted an executive action to reduce the number of immigrants who can receive temporary status. This has been very effective in lowering the numbers to Trump levels. They used the same methodology that trump used in his Muslim ban, that was ultimately struck down by a judge. I am honestly surprised that Biden/Harris EO has not been struck down.

But don't worry, when Harris is president she will sign the bipartisan border bill that trump torpedoed.

This is the stupid response we keep getting from Dems and MSM. After checking voter rolls in the Senate and the House, I didn't see Trump's name on either one.
First , it is a stupid bill that didn't even get all Dems voting for it. Second, it wasn't introduced until after Biden-Harris let in around 7-8 MILLION illegals. So what was the problem before the bill was brought up. The current administration took all the executive actions that Trump had implemented to curb illegal entry off the table and basically opened up all borders. FACT And before the usual suspects enter and say the number entering are down, it is because the resident geniuses in charge put back Some ofTrump's policies when the election starting ramping up. Congrats on bringing water to the fire you started.

Oh I wasn’t saying she said it, that’s the Republican message for sure. Didn’t mean to insinuate she’s claiming that. Trump/Vance are clearly making it a large part of their agenda to hammer the boarder and repeat those numbers over and over

I was saying that yeah of course, with that many people involved, of course there’s going to be criminals and bad people included. There’s also probably a ton of great people who truly deserve to immigrate here if they did it legally. But currently, our laws prohibit what they are doing and therefore they are breaking the law as soon as they step foot on our soil

I also admit that there MUST be a much shorter and more appropriate immigration application process for these people to get in who deserve it

But for me I can’t get past the fact that every one of the illegal immigrants is a criminal. And we’re spending tons of money to let them live here from a budget that should have been used to help the people affected by the hurricanes in North Carolina

$750 is what someone who lost everything can get. That’s tough man

This is not an accurate statement. It is not illegal to come to America and request asylum. If you are granted temporary status then you are here LEGALLY. It is the current law of the land in America, signed by Ronald Reagan. That is like saying that everyone who came through Ellis Island is illegal.

If someone crossed undetected, yes they are here illegally.

If you don't like the fact that these people who are here LEGALLY after being given temporary status are being given taxpayer money, then I get it. Elect someone who will change the law. Trump had a republican senate and house when he was president and didn't do jack shit about that.

Also, your comment on the $750 for hurricane survivors is misinformed. This was right-wing propaganda by taking a partial quote of Kamala's.

"And the federal relief and assistance that we have been providing has included FEMA providing $750 for folks who need immediate needs being met, such as food, baby formula, and the like. And you can apply now," she said. "FEMA is also providing tens of thousands more dollars for folks to help them be able to deal with home repair, to be able to cover a deductible when and if they have insurance, and also hotel costs."

Your right-wing news echo chamber only shared with you the first half of that clip.

You seem like a decent guy. I would encourage you to start getting news from less biased soruces.

For the record, I’ve watched the news on both sides. So whatever is being said in the left echo chamber, mostly about Trump being Hitler, a fascist, etc I’ve also heard

That said, which news source would you consider to be unbiased? In all honesty I would love to check it out if it’s legit

I stay away from watching any cable news, especially at night when it becomes opinion/entertainment.

I read Rueters for daily news and The Economist for more analysis. I also like Forbes, which used to be very right-wing but has landed more in the center. It is a pain in the ass to have to subscribe to all of these, though.

also own businesses.

😂😂😂 you forgot former President and now President elect! Say it with me, my President! Come on you can do it! Stop crying and say it, my President!!
