I'm old and wise enough to know that you can find a so called "expert" no matter what political affiliation it is. You and your environmentalists/climatologists on the left follow and agree (like a senseless zombies) with the left politics that the earth is going to end in 10 years unless we stop fossil fuels immediately. But you also have experts on the right that say the earth has been going on global warming and global cooling for millions of years. And yes, geological core samples taken in uninhabited regions like Greenland support the earth's warming and cooling cycles for millions of years, and you had no fossil fuels back then. And the so called "experts" on both sides have multiple PhDs. So your "experts" argument can easily be cast aside, because you have "experts" on both sides, and they seem to align with their political agenda regardless of what they learned in college. Although most colleges and universities (as mentioned above) are far left leaning political activists. The left have been taking over the education system since before the days that Sen. McCarthy outline this attack by marxists and communists on our colleges and universities in 1954. If you have studied Political Science like I have you would see that the current far left (who are in control of the country right now) define every definition of a marxist and communist. Yes, there are all forms of socialism, but what we have now is far more radical than just plain socialism. Or as Bernie Sanders tries to wrap it up in a more cosmetic paper, 'Democratic Socialism', but plain and simple, it is marxism and communism with pretty wrapping paper and a pretty bow. You will never see this because apparently you grew up under this current radical socialism/marxism/communism, whereas as I was at one time a true independent, and voted since 1976 on both sides, but where the Democratic Party back then doesn't even remotely resemble the radical marxist Democratic Party today. My first election that I voted in (1976) I voted for (now I hate to say) Jimmy Carter. And I voted split ticket all the way up to Ronald Reagan. But there is absolutely NO resemblance of that Democratic Party to the one today. So I understand why you think the way that you do. You probably haven't see the old Democratic Party, but the progression of a newer more radical Democratic Party that thinks they can form a newer and improved Marxist and Communist form of government, wrap it in pretty paper, and call it Democratic Socialism.
There exists NO form of a true Marxist and Communist government in our history that have delivered on what they promised and that has survived in that form with the true 'consent' of its people. All of those failed and current active Marxist and Communist governments all served only their elite circle, and it is that elite circle who held all the power and wealth. All the other people in that system suffered. They were persecuted, starved, and imprisoned for even questioning their government. We are not too far from that in this country today with a politicized FBI, IRS, DOJ, etc. Even Russia with its invasion of Ukraine conscripted their army from those outside of the circle of power. Those indigenous groups far from the elite Kremlin circle were forced into service and are the ones dying on a massive scale.
You Sir want to have this type of government. You may try to hide the ugly part of it from the recesses of your mind, but it still is what it is. And just for those minorities who are jumping around and high-stepping with the radical marxist left, if you think you are going to be part of the elite power circle of a marxist US government, you are fooling yourself. You cannot find in the annuls of history a true Marxist and Communist government where the minorities were not mostly excluded on a grand scale. If you disagree, please provide me with factual evidence. Then we can debate from there. But don't just 'shoot from the hip' and firing what your talking heads are telling you. At lease open your mind to both sides of the argument in a true bipartisan way. That is they way I did it for decades. And taking what I learned and studyed from both sides. Plus having the benefit of seeing communism firsthand while stationed in Germany in 1978-1981 as part of the US Army 1st Armored Division (Old Ironsides). I saw it. I saw the ugliness of it. I spent several missions on the border of Communist East Germany and Czechoslovakia.
On my oath at my swearing in for the US Army, I promised to protect our Constitution from foreign and domestic enemies. In 1978-1981 (and beyond) my (our) enemy was Marxism and Communism. It is still the same for me, except now the Marxism and Communism is the 'domestic' enemy, and I will do anything and everything to defend this nation and its Constitution and Bill of Rights. Except now it involves so much more for me. Now I have children, children that I love will all of my heart, and I want to keep this great nation free for them as well. And any other stance on this appear to be not thinking of their love for family and future generations, or they are just so naive. Biden calls it build back better, because you have to destroy something in order to build it back better!!! But whoever follows this philosophy in my onion care little about their children and what this totalitarian form of government means for their children and grandchildren to have to live in. But for those weak brainwashed marxists on here that don't get it or fail to see it, I am one US Army ex-tanker that is STILL willing to defend our nation AND you and your descendants, even if you are unwilling to or too weak to do so...
