Trump effect in Mexico

Hell yes. We have our way back in to GWP material. After it got too low brow for growls I thought we had seen our last made up article.

"It’s not clear how serious Trump’s threat is. The U.S.-Mexico-Canada free trade agreement forbids just imposing tariffs on other member countries. And it’s not clear whether the economy could even tolerate sudden levies on imports: Auto plants on both sides of the border rely on each other for parts and components, and some production lines could screech to a halt.

“It is unacceptable and would cause inflation and job losses in Mexico and the United States,” Sheinbaum said, while offering to talk about the issues. “If tariffs go up, who will it hurt? General Motors,” she said."

"Late Monday, Trump said he would impose a 25% tax on all products entering the country from Canada and Mexico, and an additional 10% tariff on goods from China, as one of his first executive orders.

The tariffs, if implemented, could dramatically raise prices for American consumers on everything from gas to automobiles to agricultural products. The U.S. is the largest importer of goods in the world, with Mexico, China and Canada its top three suppliers, according to the most recent U.S. Census data."

People like this that enable the thousands of violent attacks and the deaths of thousands of Americans every year should be branded outcast if not worse. They enable the sex trafficking and rape of hundreds of thousands of women and children across the border every year...

We're talking about the illness not the cure. You are hyper focused on the cure and demonizing it while ignoring the real problem. You have no idea about tariffs and how they work or how Trump is using tariffs to leverage other nations that tend to rip us off at every turn to get things done. You have shown for the last number of years your knowledge is limited and your thinking is shallow.....

LOL... okkkk

I assure you that I understand all sides of the argument but just to level-set for a moment, you responded to my post that explained what would happen if we had a tariff war with Mexico and used it to blame me for thousands of murders, rapes and child trafficking. WTF?

Open border policy that you have supported has caused most of that. Your support for the policy has enabled it. You have blood on your hands by supporting that policy....

Look dumbshit, how many times do I have to say it on this board before it sinks in....I did not support Biden's border policies. And just so I don't have to type it out for the umpteenth time, I'll link you to the most recent post I made about it.

Please stay in your lane and stop pretending that you know what you're talking about

I’m looking forward to everyone who supports these tariffs to be the same people doing mental gymnastics to blame democrats when gas prices go up.

When you drill your own oil prices drop...smh
You sure that’s how it works? The US produces more oil than any other country on earth.

Of course, you’re right that gas prices have steadily declined over the last couple of years under the Biden administration, so maybe you’re onto something.
