I have a 12 year old pioneer elite that I have played DD through many times. My current set up:
PS5 for DVD (yes, watching Inception with daughter for the first time) that is connected straight to the tv via HDMI.
LG OLED is connected to the receiver via optical but I can only get Pro Logic.
What am I missing? Does running the PS5 through the tv prevent the DD? I have tried to adjust every setting. Usually, when DD is present, it defaults to it.
I believe that I am having this issue when I stream as well. I am just now using my systems again now that the kids will not be around as much or be woken up.
