The RNC asked for commonsense debate reforms. The CPD is an extension of the dems and seems to not want to listen to any reforms. Last election debates, when there were any, due to covid were biased (which I am sure you'll argue) at best.
Of course you would leave out the obvious answer as an option. Good move by the RNC. Way too much bias with the current format.

Does lying, as Joe Biden does, count as facts in a debate? Look today, at all of the liberal moderator's comments, only a few months after an interview or debate.
First, they are not refusing to debate democrats. They are refusing to do so under the prior circumstances. I can guarantee you they will propose debate parameters and the dems will "refuse to debate republicans" as you put it. Trump lost a lot of votes in that first debate, because he acted like a petulant child. Biden participated in the last two debates. Your article even says “Biden shot down any notion of not old not participating.”

They objected to the same format/parameters before the last election and obviously before either of the two things you mention even existed. These are facts that either YOU are too dumb or too biased to see.
BEFORE THE LAST ELECTION (please read that part as many times as it takes for you to understand it) they requested simple changes in the parameters of the debates. These changes( you know the ones that were requested before the last election) have not been made/agreed to. As a result, they have said they will not participate in the same biased process- NOT that they will not participate in any debates.
Also, safe spaces were invented by and only required by weak minded liberals like yourself- not that there's anything wrong with that.
