Will Dow Hit 30,000 by June 1

I'll actually give you an answer here on why I (just me) think Biden is going to win.

About 40-45% of the country is either Republican or Democrat... Leaving 10-20% being independents.

Now we HEAR every day about Republican that are Never Trumpers. And we HEAR every day about Dems who are "fed up" with Biden and looking to support Trump. IMHO, this is almost TOTAL Bullshit. IMHO 95%+ of Registered Republican and Registered Democrats are going to vote with their party on election...I suppose that a FEW may cross over, but that's miniscule, I think. That means that Biden/Trump are each going to pick up around 40-45% of the vote.

So this election is going to be CLOSE. They always are. Due to the electoral college, the less populated states have slightly bigger influence than they would if we just went by straight up population. That will help Trump a bit... offsetting the fact that Biden will probably win the popular vote. And as usual, Independents like me are going to decide it. Personally, I'll never vote for Trump. Never. That was true even before the 2016 election... I'd have voted Republican in a heartbeat if anyone but Trump was there as I really dislike Hillary. It's the same thing here. I don't hate Biden, but I don't like him either. I'd vote for Nicky Hailey over Biden and wouldn't even think about it.

Now most independents that I know don't dislike Trump as much as I do... But they don't like him either. The fact of the matter is, that if this were ANYONE but Trump, he wouldn't even be in the running for President. The guy owes half a billion dollars for fraud and was found liable for sexual assault. That would eliminate ANY candidate for either party BUT TRUMP. We'll see on this next trial, but he could be found guilty of paying off a porn star so that the truth wouldn't get out before the election. His lawyer did jail time for his part in that already...

I know this doesn't matter at all to his supporters. Trump was right about that... he could shoot someone down in the street and not lose a single vote. But it DOES matter to folks that switch parties based on the candidates. I think that in the end... Independents are going to hold their noses and vote Biden.
And if you was an independent observer of the trial you know its a clown court. The star witness for the deep state destroyed their own argument to the point the bias Judge had a road rage moment at trial and even the lefty talking heads in the news admit it on air...

You know if Mad Max were a reality tv show featuring current politics, it would be 95% accurate. That is my view on the current situation in DC. Me? I ain't Skeerd. I own my home and everything else paying cash like a Boss when I need something. But here is where this strategy fails 99% of the time: be more Need than Want. I WANT a big ass truck, but don't NEED Lariat trim. I WANT a rider mower, but don't NEED it bc then I would become a fatty on a riding mower with right hand bottle of wa-wa.

I’m probably older than you, but mine started changing somewhere in the late 90s - early 2000s. I don’t remember a specific time: more of an evolution.

We are still living in the Clinton vs Conservative Media war that started in the early 90s.

True statesmen cannot get elected in this current climate, because the primaries are about the cultural wars, which are stoked by the media daily. That gives us trash candidates in the general elections. Rinse and Repeat.

Mine has certainly changed. Not sure if it's age/career or the actual political/media climate. Likely a combination of the two. But I'm at a point where I don't have any faith in either party and believe most candidates are total shit. And I don't believe I can take what "journalists" report as truth. As the Republican party has drifted, I've also grown further away from them. But the dems have drifted too, so I'm no closer to supporting that side.

Im 56 but I didnt do a deep dive into politics until the mid 90's. When I started paying closer attention to it I had even more questions. One has to ask why they dont solve issues. You go look at debates from the 60's and 70's and they are still talking about the same issues. When either side has the power to pass bills that the other cant stop, IE DACA or Obamacare, why dont they get fixed? They will just blame the other side and say if only a few dems or reps would have voted our way it would have passed. That even though the other side didnt have the votes to stop it. They have to keep the population divided into groups to control us. This is why they dont fix issues, they need them as wedge issues. As long as we are fighting each other then we cant focus on them. The establishment is using the divide and conquer strategy. They dont like it when a common class person wins an election. They go after them to get rid of them. When you see both party's go after them you may consider giving them a closer look. One has to get their head out of the ground and ask these types of questions and not deny the answer. One needs to always question what they think they know when there is evidence that goes against what one thinks. This is why I reference "The Matrix". The world isnt what we have been told it is. Establishment dems and reps are on the same side. But like the WWE they put on a show for the crowd.

The extreme right and left are the same. A bunch of authoritarian fascist that want power and control over everybody. Most people fall into the area between Liberal and conservative and they agree on way more than they dont. The establishment runs and controls the extremes of both sides. This is why they fear any populist movement by Liberals and or conservatives. Its a threat to their power and control...

Dude... I almost spit my coffee out when you said independent observer. As if you are... Honestly, I haven't followed the trial except for the stuff that comes across my 1440 email every day. Trump is a lying scumbag, that dude that worked for the National Enquirer seems like a lying scumbag, Cohen is a lying scumbag, and Stormy Danials is a porn star and seems to be really good at looking after herself first. Not the best of folks all around. But that's normal for trials like this. The jury has to figure it out.

I have confidence that Trump is getting a fair trial, just as I'm going to be confident that he's going to get a fair trial in Florida and Georgia. I have faith in the system in general unless there's solid evidence that something is wrong. If Trump is found not guilty, you aren't going to hear another word about it from me.

You on the other hand, not so much... You will cheer if there's a not guilty verdict, but there's NO WAY you accept a guilty verdict. You'll be on here crying, pissing, and moaning about how unfair everything is. Tell me I'm wrong. The fact that Trump might actually be GUILTY is not something you will ever accept.

I was expecting you to not be bias. But I see your TDS is at the same level as some others on here. But you have shown here you dont even know whats going on in the trial but at the same time feel its a fair process. So what is fair about bringing a charge for a misdemeanor that the S.O.L has long passed and charging a fed offense that a SA cant bring and one the DOJ said didnt happen and didnt even charge to make it a felony, and the Judge with his hate of Trump past and who's family is raising millions of dollars off of the trial is even fair???
